Manda and her team are great she’s an awesome manager for the Nerang store always smiling and hard working and always helped me out with any phone issues , don’t know what those other two girls commenting on here are going on about she doesn’t take personal calls she doesn’t even have her phone on her seems to me these people are just hating on her for a reason maybe jealousy? as they can’t afford to look as good as her so putting her down saying she looks like to much plastic surgery is ridiculous .At the end of the day she has worked for Optus for years and always given me and everyone else I have sent there amazing customer service it’s not about how u look it’s called how u do ur job and she’s fantastic , keep up the good work 😊

I love Optus Nerang. Store manager is amazing helpful and understanding as are all staff members. Tyler is also fantastic.amazing staff amazing service wouldn’t go anywhere else. Anyone who says otherwise don’t know what amazing service is

My partner and I both went here 2 years ago for a new contract with Optus, from Telstra. We dealt with Amanda, and found her very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. So it was a simple decision to return to the same store 2 weeks ago and hope to deal with Amanda again to renew our contracts. Unfortunately, Amanda wasn't working, but we were met by Grant. After a few minutes, we knew this guy was a smooth talker, and was way too pushy. He firstly looked up our contracts online, and said one phone was free from the contract period, and the other still had 3 days remaining. In a very subtle way, he fast talked over the fact that "it wouldn't be a problem to get out of that contract". I had to directly ask him if it would cost money, to which he answered that it would, but only the $80 I pay every month. It turned out that if I waited the 3 days, it would cost me nothing. But I really had to press him for that bit of info. He then told us that leasing both phones are a far better option. As a business owner, I know the in's and out's of leasing terms, and started looking over the details. The entire time we were looking over the terms, he seemed to be distracting us with phone colours and accessories. I finally told him that the leasing terms weren't for us, he was clearly annoyed. We went through all the plans available, similar to our current plan price. We were surprised at the price increase from Optus in only 2 years. We decided to leave the store to think about the extra $60 a month we would need to pay. Needless to say, he was again annoyed, telling us that nowhere else can do a better deal, even though we said we just want to think about the extra cost. The biggest waste of an hour. We went to Pacific Fair store instead, and were shown cheaper plans, with all the same inclusions, same phone, same everything. So we got the phones there, and without all the stupid salesman talk, done in 15 minutes.

The manager looks scary with too much plastic surgery and has no customer service skills at all. She looks over your shoulder the whole time she speaks to you and gives the impression that she can't stand you. Also takes too many personal calls. Turned me right off Optus. Not a good representative Optus!

I took my Elderly Aunt to Optus store at Nerang to upgrade plan and dispute a $10 charge. Girl who served us kept looking past us and rolling her eyes. In the end we walked out getting nothing done that we asked and were just told to call Optus directly- seriously! If this had of been Telstra they would have gone above and beyond for us and given us the time of the day. Was appalled at her behaviour, my Aunty said this wasn’t the first time she has received attitude from this girl and said usually she tries to avoid her 😡
