Visited here for lunch a day past boxing day. Although the place looked pretty basic but 1 the ice cream is very nice and creamy we had the strawberry and rum & raisin - both were very authentic; and 2 the fish and chips - fish was fresh with nice thin batter. Chips were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Salad was fresh. We were pleasantly surprised.  The staff were a bit over loaded as it was a public holiday but they handled the pressure quite well.  All in all we would recommend this place for the ice cream and fish & chips. Not sure about the chicken or other food.

The fish and chips was packed perfectly for picnic on the lawn,  with lemon wedges and 2 sauces. The salad was tasty and packed in a separate box. The chips were to to die for, very crispy and just the right thickness. The price was reasonable too at $15.

We are lokals and saw that the fish and chip shop in Olinda had new owners so hubby who loves Fish and chips and I thought we give them a try. We both agreed that was the worst fish we had so far, soggy butter, all you could taste was flower and the fish was really leathery . I let the Lady behind the counter know what we thought about her fish. No, I didn’t ask for my money back.

Fast service. Value for money. Friendly staff. We bought 6 pieces of chicken and small serving of chips. The chicken was good. The small serving of chips is aloooot and enough for 2 or 3 people.

I had the fish, chips and salad snack pack which I thoroughly enjoyed. The pack came with sauce at no extra cost. The fish was delicious and crisp and lightly battered and not oily. There is more seating indoors than outdoors. It wasn't crowded when we came for lunch. If this were by the sea, there would be queues here. It is much better than many I've tried.

Child hood fish and Chip shop, best place for a quick easy snack or Friday night meal. They know all the locals and are extremely friendly and kind too. Food quality is amazing and honestly the best bang for your buck.  Portions are amazing, $5 in the hills can get you further than $5 in the city.

Worst grilled flake ever.... was going to say it was rubbery, but that would be flattering. Got 2 stars because the calamari rings were at least edible.... the flake went into the rubbish bin

Excellent little fish and chip cafe.  Real seafood, friendly staff and low prices. Amazingly beautiful location.

The only resturant that was serving food in Olinda on 3rd of January, and they were terrible in serving and preparing. They took number of orders but apparently they were under staff, we cancelled our orders after 47minutes of waiting as they wanted us to wait for another 30minutes. we just ordered 6 piece of kenteky chicken and a chips!!!!!! we don't recommend this place as they don't respect people and overload themselves by taking so many orders.

Perfectly fried fresh fish and chips and excellent value for money. No complaints, will be back soon!
