Been getting our Fish & Chips, Hamburgers and had many a Souvlaki here for many years, they are redoubtably the best in Melbourne, especially with the Chicken Salt added. The reviewer that said they didn't get a tax receipt only needed to request one - his error not the Montrose F&C's! Would travel miles to get my food from this place!! Keep up the good work! You are amazing!!!

In my opinion, this is the BEST fish and chippery in Melbourne. Decent sizes and reasonable prices; the minimum chips actually comes in a box and will feed up to 4 people, not just a small handful of chips for extortionate prices. The owners are friendly, remember you if you are a return customer and are always up for a chat. The only downside is that Friday and Saturday nights get incredibly busy, and phone orders usually take 40+ minutes to be ready despite saying 15. Besides that, I cannot fault. 10/10

The worst fish and chip shop in Melbourne. Order took over 1-hour and was missing items when I came home. Had an ATO officer ask me for my GST reciept which I told him I received none as they only take cash. I watched him ask a number of people the same question. Looks like this business is being investigated
