Though it's not well known for this, I really suggest getting a meal from here. The food is great and the serving sizes are massive - plus they have great Irish dishes. Drinks can be quite expensive unless they're on special. There's $7 pints of Guinness on Thursdays, and there's always some kind of special/ discount happening on each day. The setting is almost romantic, with an old rustic Melbourne pub vibe. If you're looking for a hectic night out, come on Thursday and Saturday. However if you're looking for a nice place to eat and maybe have a couple of pints with your family, come early on every other day - especially Mondays as from experience that's the quietest time.

The O'disappointment of the Sunshine Coast. We visited the venue on a Saturday night, 1030pm, to be greeted by unfriendly door staff demanding $10 for entry. I asked what it was for and they said, and I quote "to get inside". We (3) of us paid the fee to discover a dark, sweat/urine smelling, 1/4 capacity venue with THE worse punk rock garage band in the southern hemisphere. With 2 bar staff for every 15 people, the service was slow. A Canadian Club and dry (freshly made) tasted like Kirk's ginger ale and nothing in the vicinity of whiskey. If I could rate a negative review, especially after the clear RSA violations stumbling around the dance floor, I would. Would NEVER visit again. I'll save my $10 for a train trip back to Brisbane where higher standards are kept in pubs/clubs with free to enter and enjoy yourself attitudes.

Great food! Awesome customer service and such an awesome variety of music on the weekends!! Definitely recommend!
