Disappointed with my experience at Augello Restaurant. The $42 pizza I ordered was overly oily and lacked sauce. Presentation and flavor were underwhelming, lacking the passion, detracting from the authentic Italian taste.nnSaw lots of good reviews here, but for our visit the pizza was a huge letdown. didn't justify the high prices.nnService was a soso, and the views were stunning, but overall, the food quality left much to be desired. nnGluten free pizza bases and pasta are available $3.50 extra.nnOne bill per table. 17.5% surcharge applies on public holidays.nWeekend surcharge 10%. Location is awesome! Just at the esplanade with a nice view. It's a casual dining and variety of food in menu. We thought we could have a late lunch so we ordered a small and medium pizza but boy, it was so filling! We didn't need dinner. The price is worth it too, generous toppings. The hot smoked salmon pizza is amazing and my partner enjoyed the Thai calamari & prawn, it was new to our palate to have sweet chilli in a pizza. Overall amazing!
Lovely place next to the beach to enjoy Italian food. Quick service, friendly staff and the food was delicious! Would definitely come again, highly recommend.
In a group of 10. All meals delivered close together. Friendly, efficial staff. . Most had which got top marks. I had the steak special, perfectly cooked. Good overall vibe.
Heard such good things about this place and their award winning pizzas. I had to see what the hype was about and ordered the award winning Salmon pizza.nI didn't want to set my expectations too high, but could taste why it was an award winner. It was very tasty without the salmon flavour being too overpowering. One of the best ive ever had.nnThe place was busy being peak tourist season, the staff were absolutely fantastic with their prompt and friendly service.nnWe were seated upstairs which added to the great ambience. With views towards the sea and a cool sea breeze, it was a great experience.
