The food at Bella Venezia is absolutely superb. I could not fault one dish that we ordered. The wine was beautiful and Jason our server was so attentive and kind. It was out second visit since moving to the Sunshine Coast and we will be back many more times in the future.
I'm sure the locals don't need to know how good Bella Venezia is. Fine dining at its best! Be prepared to be overwhelmed with their award winning wine list. Fantastic service and willingness to accommodate were appreciated. With visiting if you're in town.
Food, drinks and service were outstanding! The market fish was probably one of the best fish dishes I've ever had. All around a great experience, would definitely come back.
Very small portion, and overpriced. We had a 7-course degustation menu, we waited half an hour for the first meal to arrive which was a small piece of. bread, and then continuing with very small portions after that. Very disappointed after reading all the reviews. Also, the wines are overpriced. We left hungry, not full at all. The waiter Tonino, was friendly, talkative but end the end we have a feeling he wanted get rid of us. It was quite strange. Compared to the Italian Restaurant in Fortitude Valley, it was superb, had bigger portions, and priced well. Wouldn't be returning and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Last week, we passed by and noticed the restaurant with the red hats. So, we decided to make a reservation for this week. The service was good, but when my girlfriend tried her pasta, she found the pasta undercooked. We informed the waiter, and they offered to remake it. However, the second serving was still undercooked, with a hard texture and unsatisfactory taste. Initially, I thought it might be normal for this type of pasta, being my first time trying it. Yet, upon confirming with the waiter, he acknowledged it wasn't normal. When the waiter conveys the message from the chef,they claimed that overcooking would affect the presentation. Is it acceptable to serve undercooked food to customers? It's quite baffling, especially after a second attempt to remedy the situation. A very disappointing dining experience.
