Good for saving money but BAD with service, after an accident I’ve been involved in , they talk to me like I’m a killer or a thief which shows no respect and bad experience, lady must stop at STOP sign but she didn’t and that’s where the accident happened , she says it’s no her fault OMG instead of looking at the cars and the location and send someone to decide NRMA asked me for filling forms again and provide witnesses and bla bla bla , never again with NRMA

They are good at taking your money but when you need them they make a bad incident worse. I moved from AAMI to NRMA because to save money. Had a incident where I was TBoned at an intersection, the lady apologised, admitted complete blame and said her insurance company would handle everything. Problem came when I went to NRMA assessment centre and they tore the incident to shreds, that scratch looks like before the incident so we are not going to repaint the whole panel we'll put some money towards you doing it. The damage can't be from the same incident. Also my car was slammed into a gutter where my mags were both damaged. They wouldn't cover that because they could apparently see where there was previous damage on one of the mags so they'd only provide me a tiny bit of cash for me to go do it myself somewhere. It was horrible, made a bad situation so much worse. I wasn't in the wrong then all of a sudden I was being picked apart by my own insurance company. I asked to speak to the manager, that instead of asking me to come into his office lead me out of the front door so the other customers in the place couldn't hear my complaints. So anyway straight back to AAMI after that. I had an incident, AAMI ask where the issues are, circle it with a big marker, get it fixed and let you know when it's done, AAMI are there when you need them most. NRMA are only good at taking your money and nothing else!

I had an accident on July. I paid $600 access. When they reviewed wasn't my fault. They said. They will reburst it back to me but they havnt paid it back and repairer and assessor were so rude and I'm still waiting for my money. I talked with few customers service they are telling me the same story which they waiting for repairer invoice sent it to them. This is worse insurance I ever been through.

I'm the owner of a auto glass business. Nrma insurance won't pay me for a invoice sent to them three months ago .not the first time I've had this problem with them .now I have to chase the owner for payment.
