Highly recommend Dr Ian Wong at Newmarket Family Doctors. He is your old school type Doctor when it comes to service, and his experience with many facets of medicine is amazing. He is a rare breed. Its so good to know I can go back to see him anytime, and he remembers my name. Sounds trivial, but I believes goes along way to showing me the Doctor cares. He also has an extensive network of specialists who assists him, which is so refreshing when you have complex needs, as I do. Im not sure what your looking for, but there is no better feeling then when you go to a specialist that actually knows your GP, more care seems to be taken. I feel I can talk to Dr Wong about anything, anytime, mainly because he knows me as a person now. Thats something Universtity can not teach you, you either have it or you do not. If your looking for a new Doctor, you can not go wrong with Dr Wong. I'm pretty certain there is not too many Doctors like him. I think everyone deserves to be treated the way Dr Wong looks after you, thats why I went to the effort to write this. If you do not believe your current Doctor cares, or know you for you, and not just a number, Dr Wong is who your looking for. For those of you who currently think your not being looked after by your current GP, what do you have to lose. I only wish I knew him 20 years ago!

Tania Jardine is the most personable and down to earth doctor I've encountered. I won't go to anyone else. Reception staff service could improve though...they often don't make any eye contact when talking to you

I had moved across town and was trying to find a good local GP as I couldn't travel the distance to see my old one anymore (especially if I was ill it wasn't safe to drive so far). I found one but unfortunately the doctor left soon after as he was split between a clinic on the Gold Coast and in Windsor. So I had to begin the search again, luckilly I found a great doctor and support staff here. It is sometimes hard to find a doctor and support staff that you can build rapport with and everyone is different and everyone is human so don't be discouraged if you can't find a GP you like right away.
