Horrific practice, don’t go here. They clearly do not care about people whatsoever. Doctor did not even listen, did not check anything or care whatsoever, it was over in two minutes despite waiting for ages past schedule, and that two minutes was the doctor interrupting and not listening. The doctors working here literally have no compassion for humans or their field anymore and act like they just want the day to be over. Seriously - if you are managing this practise, please take the time to consider these reviews and pull your team in line!!!!

Their General Practitioners all have years of medical experience, keep themselves informed & up to date on the latest information & treatments. One of the things I love best about these doctors, if you present with an ailment or injury that is beyond their expertise, they won’t hesitate in referring you to a specialist while always keeping in mind your personal circumstances to ensure you remain as financially unburdened as possible while trying to care for you & your family’s health. All of the staff at Morningside Family Medical Centre are friendly, professional & approachable. Remember to be kind to them, they are doing their jobs & they do them incredibly well!! We have been patients of Morningside Family Medical Centre for almost 20 years. In that time, this medical practice, particularly Dr Nemetallah, has seen us through some of the most challenging & difficult circumstances of our lives with care & compassion, always there to support us, answer our questions & console us in our darkest moments. For those raising poor reviews because of wait times or delays in seeing these doctors, please keep in mind that these doctors run behind sometimes because they care so much about their patients. They take whatever time is necessary with the patient in front of them to ensure they are providing the best possible medical advice & treatment. They are also one of the medical practices who have been engaged by QLD Health to see minor emergency cases to alleviate some of the burden from the Emergency Departments of our Brisbane hospitals. All it takes is a quick phone call to the office on 3395 8577 just before you leave to confirm if your doctor is running on time or whether you should delay your arrival to the practice for your appointment. Always keep in mind that something great is worth waiting for. The medical professionals at Morningside Family Medical Centre are definitely worth waiting for!!
The first time to be there, the doctor helped me for one issue, and charged $80 for second issue. I had an appointment after week with this clinic at 1:50pm and arrived a few minutes before the appointment, but waited there for more than 1 hour without be able to see the doctor. Be careful to go to this clinic.
Jade is an excellent, very professional Medical Receptionist who always phones us if our doctor is running late. Our doctor is thourough and friendly with wonderful follow-up care.
Couldn’t look for a better clinic to go get prescriptions and skin checks. Super friendly receptionists who organise your appointments and take pride in their work. The Doctors are genuinely the nicest people too. I feel bad for a lot of the hate they cop from impatient people who can’t wait 10mins for the doctor to see them.
Have been attending the clinic for almost a decade. After dealing with the rude reception person, Jade, and being hung up on by her twice for calmly voicing a concern. Apparently being concerned and voicing such a concern is abuse and not tolerated. Very very unhappy and will be changing to a different clinic.
Waited 2 hours to be seen by a GP for reception to turn around and say the GP couldn't see me. Good business practice is to let people know you have made a mistake in the diary instead of wasting peoples time. Absolute insult to be told "You can book in tomorrow as this appointment is important" when the GP can't fit you in for a 5 minute consult after waiting 2 hours is disgusting. Your clinic is an absolute disgrace.
They made me sit outside and talk about my private issues in front of a heap of people because of a sore throat even though I had passed a covid test and offered to do one in front of him so I could PRIVATELY talk about what was going on. I have never been so embarrassed and he showed no consideration as he spoke so loudly in front of everyone. You should be ashamed.
Its very rare I post reviews online but this was one of the worst doctor experiences I've ever had in my life. Absolutely appalling, especially when a doctor doesn't take any note of your surgical wound, refuses to change the dressing and is "too busy" to examine a new born because he has his "own clients" and "isnt trained to look at babies". Even though prior to attendance I called reception and asked for a doctor to perform 7 day examination on new born and change the dressing from an emergency c section. However he was willing to write a quick doctors certificate for work? We were there for a maximum of 5 minutes before he rushed us out the door and directed us to the nurse who would only weigh the baby and change a dressing. We eneded up walking straight out the door due to the unprofessionalism and the hygiene of the practice. If you want a quick easy medical certificate for work...sure go there, but if you want genuine medical advice or assistance, do yourself a favour and walk across the road to the family practice next door to Coles.
Doctors good, the receptionist behind the counter and older lady with grey hair an glasses - very rude, unsympathetic and arrogant won’t be back to this clinic in a rush. Staff are supposed to be friendly and helpful and this was far from my experience, pretty poor for a medical centre
