Tried booking a hire car through this company and the operator on the phone was very rude and the service was very unreliable. The previous owners were much more professional and reliable. We will never be using this company again.
My 3 month old and I were transferred to Maitland which was 5 hours away from home. We were dropped off at our door by Rob who was friendly, professional and polite. The car was spotless and we felt safe. Definitely would recommend.

I know the uprising of Uber has been an major impact to the business. But Newcastle hire cars provides the most professional service, always on time, staffs are always genuinely friendly and extremely helpful. Regardless of which driver, all my trips have been pleasant, and filled with interesting conversations.
My recent trip to Liverpool Sydney to see a Doctor was made some much better by traveling with Newcastle Hire Car Service. The driver Peter, was safe, efficient , prompt and extremely friendly. He arrive at our destination on time even though he had some heavy traffic in both directions. If all your staff are like Peter I would recommend them to anyone wishing for car hire service. I was recently a bridesmaid at a wedding and Newcastle executive hire cars were used to transport the bridal party from ceremony to reception. During this journey one of the bridesmaids dress zipper split open. Jo, one of the drivers was exceptional. Helping us stitch the bridesmaids dress back together. She was so professional and reassuring and really went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. I would absolutely recommend this company for weddings!!
Terrible. Made a booking, gave them my name and number and car was booked. Next morning, no car turned up and when I inquired about it I was told 'we have no booking, there's no way we could do that booking'. He was adamant there was booking. Unreliable. I called a cab instead and didn't even have to wait 5 mins. Newcastle hire cars, waste of time. They used to be good a few years back but I won't be using them anymore.
I have used this hire car company on several occasions to travel from Jesmond to the airport I used to work up in Dorrigo and I would fly each fortnight from Coffs Harbour to Newcastle I looked forward to being picked up by the hire car company when I arrived when I was departing they would pick me up from home and drop me at the airport they were always on time they always check to make sure the flights were ok for me and I got excellent service they set the price for me and I knew what I had to pay when I got there I think Newcastle hire cars for looking after me for so many years from mwh
