Fantastic night our first at mexicoast. Jason the bartender had solid knowledge of tequila. The owner was there and shared his knowledge and pride of his restaurant. He also shared some of his top shelf tequila. Best night out in a long time. We will be back. Nice to see someone on the coast up to top food and alcohol standards. Go there and check it out.
The service was TERRIBLE. We will never use this service. We were allowed to believe we could book a taxi, and arrived at a station to find no taxi. When we rang we were told they didn't take bookings, and that they would put the job out. We waited ages then rang again to be told no one wanted the job, but they'd put it out again. Found an Uber with reasonable ease. We were traveling with two young children and this was a bad end to a very long day of traveling.
Mostly great, until we needed to get to the train station on time to make a flight, booked 3 or 4 days ahead, and had the booking accepted, but they were ~20 mins late. Missed the trainstill made the flight, just checked in much later than desired. Build in a bit more wiggle room to your bookings, even if it means entertaining kids at the station for an extra 30 mins The drivers were all lovely though, helpful, but not intrusive.
My mum had an appointment for 11:10am and required a wheelchair taxi as she cannot transfer in and out of a car. I rang at 9:30 for a 10:30 pick-up. No taxi turned up. We didn’t even receive a call to let us know there was no taxi available. Needless to say my mum missed a very important doctors appointment
Pre-ordered a cab to take me to the station at 8:40am in the morning to give myself 20 mins to get there, waited 15 mins and didn’t think they were coming so called an Uber instead otherwise I was going to miss my train only for the cab driver to rock up and when I advised that I needed to call an Uber he got mad and snapped at me. What’s the point of pre-ordering a cab if they’re not going to turn up on time?
Absolutely appalling service. I needed to get to Woy Woy station 6 min drive away: Website and app broken. 131008 DOES NOT WORK FOR THIS SERVICE, unable to pre-book. 15 mins to answer the call and 50 mins later no taxi. Re-book, no taxi. Call operators rude and careless, telling me ‘how hard it is’. Eventually I took an Uber. Once at the station I saw 3 taxis sitting there, 1 eating, 2 chatting took a photo as one of them drove off This is the 2nd such incident this week. On Tuesday returned from overseas pre-booked a cab well in advance, got confirmation so all should be good. What a joke. Got a ‘tough luck’ response from the operator so I had to wake a friend for help. There were another 4 parties at the station waiting for a cab, all with a similar story. Only other time I used a Central Coast Taxi it stank of cigarette smoke and the driver was rude and unprofessional. Time for a shakeup, Central Coast Taxi, you have a great opportunity but are a monumental disgrace.
I cannot believe this company are in business. How on earth they are still around baffles me. We have been stood up 3 times now in booking a 4:30am taxi to Gosford train station so my husband can catch a train to catch a flight to his work. We have 3 small children and each time in trying to book a taxi, had ended up having the taxi not show up they receive the booking the day before! and have to drag our children out to rush him to the train station to be able to catch the train on time. When you can to enquire about where the taxi is, they just say the booking is still in their system and the closest driver is at bateau bay or Gosford for a pick up 20 minutes away. Why on earth take a booking of you have zero desire to actually send a car? Never again. We will never ever use this service no matter how desperate we are. And I would suggest others do the same or you will be left stranded.
There’s a lot of bad reviews for this taxi service, but I found it to be great. My taxi showed up on time, I was able to go to my Doctors appointment. I did have to wait quite a while after my appointment for a taxi to be available, but the staff over the phone was very kind and apologetic. Both drivers were very nice and professional.
Stuck at Wyee station on a public holiday with no way of getting back hometwo hour walk at 8pm, no thanks! , put two calls into CCTS and to our delight, Andrew called us up on our phone with 4% asking if we still needed the service. Thankfully Andrew was to the rescue and got us home safe and sound. Considering they are based in Gosford, to get serviced where we were was incredible!! Love your work Andrew!!
My mother routinely calls this service and gets abused by an extremely rude operator called Clearly. She makes her wait for one + hour and if called again swears at her, cancels her service and restarts booking from the time of the next call. Despite complaints even from drivers the company will not get rid of her and the atrocious unprofessional behavior continues!
