We needed a part for our boat and ordered a taxi to take us out to bcf at Taylor’s beach. The taxi driver was very polite and helpful and happily waited for us to drop us ba k at Nelson bay. Fantastic service!
Would not recommend. Use Uber! I have to say this is the worst taxi service I have ever used. Used it twice and I’ll never use it again. First taxi was 20 minutes late to pick us up meaning our ferry was waiting for us and we only just made it on running. When I called to asked where my taxi was she said that wasn’t her job and hung up on me. Secondly, when I called to rebook a ride home. The guy at the call center hung up on my after I asked hold long I’d be waiting for a taxi after saying that their system can’t tell them how long a driver will be… seems like a piece of information most people would want to know ..? So we waited for an hour before we just got an Uber. Very disappointing.
Useally get super nice friendly drivers but the wait is unbelievable just ended up walking home useally give ‘em 30mins but when it’s been raining and can’t walk I’ve waited 1hour and half
I always book in advance with NBT. Staff are lovely and always on time or early. Don't bother with regular taxis in the bay, I have always found them unreliable. Go straight to Nelson Bay Taxis!
Super angry. The driver said anna bay big 4 and he drove to soldiers Point big 4 $20 over. Ripped off
Absolute worst service. Answered my call and hung up on me. I never leave reviews but whoever was answering the calls 9.15pm November 26 2022 has no professionalism at all.
Terrible, our driver tried to charge us maxi taxi rates for the cab, overcharged by 30 bucks at least. Would have been 50 bucks if I hadnt have argued.
The lady taking my phone bookings was efficient and friendly. The drivers arrived on time and had a friendly manner. Also sms 2 minutes prior to pickup. Made our stay easier having a reliable taxi service.
Hot tip - try and book an Uber or another driving service first. Terrible wait times. Very inconsistent service. I have had to walk home in the past. Try and have a back up plan. The actual drivers are lovely. It’s the company not the drivers.
