My father passed away and was a member of of NAB. They then blocked my access to company funds twice for a combined 6 weeks total even though I was a director. Put up roadblocks to me sorting out the remaining payment on my fathers house, charged me interest on they money owed. Was givin the run around several times between NAB on the phone and through the branch. They set up the estate account wrong, if I didn’t pick it up I would’ve been charged so much more in tax, even though I explicitly asked to set it up in the correct way. These days they’ve blocked me from accessing my estate account, even though I’m an executor, because they say I didn’t withdraw enough probably 8 months but not sure then they said they want it closed but didn’t call me or follow it up, been nearly 4 months I couldn’t legally access the account, it’s incredible how unhelpful and poor they are in helping someone, and have the audacity to say “I am sorry for your loss” , “sorry your experience hasn’t been positive”… their actions have real consequences on families and people who struggle with the loss of a loved one… I thought there was a royal commission into banks… at NAB nothing has changed. Already had to complain twice to the AFCA, will need to do it a third time if they don’t give me access to the account that I have legal right to, within 7 days.
1 star to Narya she wasted my time. Home early to withdraw some of my money for emergency use but she did not consider my medicare ,driver licence and high risk card. Very poor unprofessional service.
Been there few times but mixed experiences Very long lines,they have i think 5 tellers with pc set up but only 2 operating at most of time,you cen see through glass at back they laugh,coffee,chat with line easy 15 people I just wanted transwer some money to Vietnam because while in there my bag valet passport were stolen and people helped me so i wanted to pay bac,
We just switched banks and had to go into the NAB Maddington branch for the first time. We were bracing ourselves after reading the reviews here. We had a reasonable wait and were taken promptly by Fiona who helped us. She was excellent! Patient, pleasant, knowledgable. We had to go through many accounts and she was very thorough and helpful. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Poor counter service. Asked for do deposit at the counter. As I knew that machine is not functioning. For the best convenience, think about to deposit at the counter. The girl staff said oh actually can do cash deposit at the machine, it is easy for you, no need wait for the line.. Queue up and wasting your time. Well. If that possible, then why I still come for you. Urgghhh. She replied oopss my counting machine here is not working, so you have to use the atm machine. Im thinking of what the counter work for?? Very poor customer service! The lady at front help desk was so rude ...they don't even have 2 minutes to talk and clarify with customers query ...even for small queries they want people to book an appointment ...while over the phone I was told that I can walk in with my documents and my problem will be solved. But this lady didn't even hear my query and sent me back
My wife went into the bank with two relatively easy queries. She was forced to get the attention of Evonne who was not wearing a name badge who was quite "short" and in many ways quite rude. My wife was made to feel that her questions were unimportant and felt marginalised by this rude employee who fobbed her off. My wife asked to see the manager and was again answered harshly by the ever rude Evonne. If Evonne is spelt incorrectly that would be due to the lack of a name tag.
My partner and I visited the NAB Maddington branch on Tuesday 19/11/2019. The store smelt of urine which was very unpleasant. The teller was quite rude, I think a customer service role isn't for her. I wont be banking with NAB any longer.
They do not have a machine for counting coins to deposit into your account
My husband and i came in to get a home loan with 20k savings and only to be told they couldn't help but we should go to ANZ. We have both been with NAB for a long time. I'm now a happy ANZ customer
