Murrays Coaches - Hourly Express Services from Canberra to Sydney Airport & Sydney

On a recent trip from Canberra to Sydney my partner and I got seats 11a and 11b. The seats didn't have any foot rests and 11a had an emergency exit door protruding out that meant I couldn't sit flat in my seat as my shoulder would then hit the door frame so I was highly uncomfortable for the entire 3.5 hours. Not sure why those with only one person was not given these seats as at least they can sit on 11b to avoid being stuck in such an uncomfortable position for the whole trip. Also, there was no discount for the compromised seats :

It was fun tracking my travel on Google map while enjoying the view through the windows. Cosy& comfortable seats, fast WiFi, toilet in the coach and kind driver

I've take the Coach many times from Murrays Coaches Canberra all the way back to Sydney and they're really good. Busses are always on time, the drivers are really good and the staff at the counter are great with tricky questions. Great company and big fans of them, highly recommended for getting to and from Sydney to Canberra!

Until now I thought that this service always has a goof customer service standards. The bus driver on our trip from Sydney to Canberra asked for QR code and refused to sit us based on provided family name an ID if required. I can not find any information on having QR code as a MUST to be on a bus. Reluctantly he had admitted us to bus and condescendingly told us to have it for next time. The bus itself has very strong toilet smell. The most unsatisfactory ride of all time

Used their service to travel from Wollongong to Canberra. Was a good experience, except for two things: 1. I booked seats for two persons with my wife weeks before the date, with my name as the main contact. However, the ticket and travel details given to me only listed my name instead of me and my missus. This made me a bit worried whether I made a mistake and forgot to put my wife's name. Thankfully not and I did not have to sleep outside. I believe the experience could've been improved by listed all the travelers' names, instead of just the main contact. 2. No information on wifi's password during the trip, even the driver was not so sure whether the wifi is active or not.

Staff are professional and friendly. Unfortunately there is always one passenger that wants to bend the rules. I was seated next to someone who opened a hot curry and took their shoes and socks off. Staff dealt with it well. Hot food is not allowed.

I bought a flexible ticket, my booking is for 5.25 pm 14/2/23, i tried to change it to 4.25pm however could change time through your website. I requested your staff @ Bay 9 Sydney Airport, who initially said he would try if seats are available. However, denied allot a seat in spite of several empty seats available in 4.25pm bus. This is very disappointing inspite paying higher fare for flexible ticket I was denied to use the feature. This is just fooling customer. Very disappointing.

They give a little speech, free WiFi and charging station. The seats go back. Very good. You can even eat and drink

Must have THE most uncomfortable seats on any coach in Australia. Not sure my backside can handle any more trips with Murrays, so will be trying Greyhound next trip.

Bus transit location is centrally located and close to many hotels. There are limitations on luggage and how many bags you can take.
