If you expect big signs and tourists in this Tourist Centre, you could be quite wrong. Although I first came here from Sydney on April 30, 2018, finding it again on May 2, 2018 from a different direction with the GPS assistance was still difficult. Fortunately, I recalled it was just next to Hotel Ibis and looked for Murrays and Greyhound coaches parked outside it!
Good flow of people and has all the expected facilities, toilets and a shop. Remember you are not allowed on the bus with a hot drink, so don't be stuck with a fresh coffee and about to board. Parking and waiting areas are a little difficult, so you need to go out to the roads for drop-off or pickup
Left luggage facilities are avail for intra-day only. Speak to the Greyhound counter staff. It is a room under lock and key where they will store your bags.
An error was made when booking the bus ticket and when we spoke to a worker from the call centre, she alerted us of a solution. However upon arriving to the centre and speaking to Melanie we were appalled at how we were spoken to. While completely understandable that the mistake was our fault and would cause the receptionists having to do some rearranging that they probably didn’t want to do on a Sunday morning, she was rude and condescending throughout the entire interaction and made it seem like it was the largest inconvenience on the planet to execute the solution proposed by the call centre. Regardless of what has happened, there is no excuse to deliver such poor customer service. The call centre worker, driver and rest of the workers seemed lovely and were very helpful.
I had a bus at 6 in morning. Somehow I reached there by 5:55 and the lady at reception asked me the questions like she is any kind of investigator. At the end she pointed the finger and said “go right there and see if they can let you in”. I mean is that really the way to run the business and treat customers.
