Fantastic home made pies! Came in and they were out of hot pies. They offered to heat one up for me so I returned half hour later. Had the venison mushroom. Fantastic!

Incredible coffee, staff, and variety. They have a whole take-away menu in addition to a large and diverse normal menu. Their coffee is made with incredible care and detail and is easily some of the best coffee I’ve ever had in New Zealand. They even have ice cream and pastries!

Food ok and some staff great, but not impressed by other staff trying to tell us that we couldn't have the $8 eggs on toast plus two extras listed as $1 each, as that would actually be a (more expensive) breakfast (except for the bits of that we didn't want). Apart from being wrong about the claimed equivalence, if you don't want to sell something, don't advertise it in big letters on the menu! Scrambled egg turned out to be a bit odd too - not sure what they'd done, but pretty sure it wasn't just egg, milk, butter, scrambled.

Just had a pot of tea for one here at 4 NZD, so good value. Very friendly and helpful service.

Locally owned cafe with friendly staff. Max content burgers are defintly bang for you buck And I would have to say the best burgers in Central. And if burgers aren't your thing you must try the home made baking 👌
