Story

IT’S EASY TO FIND this humming Café set in the middle of Nichols Garden and Landscaping Center on the intersection of the Cromwell Queenstown-Wanaka Highway. Just look for the signs and if you are travelling either way you can’t miss it. There is plenty of free parking and easy access.

LOCALS & TRAVELERS SHOULD STOP because this Café is perfect for everyone. Overlooking the Wooing Tree vineyard, and the Allan Scott “Scott Base” vineyards.

TRIO OF HOSTS.... ALAN, LOUISE,& JOSH (and Jerry Springer Spaniel of course) and their keen team of staff are always ready to serve you up a good Cafe experience.

What a pleasant experience I've had! Such beautiful displays of gifts in addition to heaps of indoor and outdoor plants, even a full pet section, and everything else that's needed for the garden! The Café was delightful as well. The staff was helpful and friendly too.

Food is excellent both days we came, coffee truly fabulous, service very efficient & friendly - even though the time waiting in line to order was about 25 minutes & the place was humming & really really busy, the staff remained friendly & polite. Atmosphere is lovely. Really enjoyed our visits.
Super nice atmosphere to just sit and relax. My matcha latte could’ve been made a bit smoother but the food made up for it. Would come here again
Awesome shopping for plants experience. Beautiful and competitive laid out roses and plenty of fruit tree choices. The cafe music is a little too loud for eating comfort. But otherwise, it's worthwhile to come browse at least.
WOW! Food absolutely fantastic. We had the French Toast and Avocado Smash. Let me start by saying I have eaten hundreds of Avocado Smash’s between NZ and Australia and i have to say Nichol’s rate as my number 1 Avocado Smash to this date. There’s a 5 star chef in the kitchen who knows exactly what they are doing!! The French toast was also incredible, we have never seen anything like it. 10/10! Great service too!!
