Story

The Mt. Everest Nepalese Restaurant is pleased to introduce you to a new taste which is reflective of unique Nepalese cuisine. Born in the mountain of the Himalayas this has become a favourite style of food throughout the world. The difference is in the seasoning. Using the finest vegetables, meats and seafood’s, full flavored fancy Himalayan spices and modest herbs combine to provide a culinary experience.

Our head chef has many years of experience in preparing the special dishes of Nepal. The atmosphere of our restaurant is designed to enhance your dining experience with beautiful scenic original oil paintings produced by Nepalese artists. We will prepare food to meet your taste preference whether it be mild, moderate or spicy. We trust you will enjoy the taste of the Himalayas.

Fantastic food at reasonable prices. The ambience is nice but not overdone. The service was friendly and quick. The butter chicken was delicious!

We dropped by the restaurant twice when we were visiting Gympie and Mary Valley. They were closed for the first time due to a Nepalese festival, and I do not regret insisting to go back the next day for lunch! The restaurant is nicely decorated - in particular, I find the Himalayan range posters interesting. The waiter looks genuinely kind and polite, offering very good services. It is a shame that we were only after a light lunch - we were really eager to try their mains. Anyway, my Chicken Tikka Salad is very delicious, and my husband loves his Momo - he thinks that the condiment is the best that he has ever had. Thank you so much for the pleasant experience :
Very disappointed with my meal. The service was slow I had to wait a very long time for my meal and then when it arrived it was a big let down. I certainly wouldn't recommend this place if you are looking for a good meal.
Wonderful experience. Such lovely attentive staff and amazing flavours. Took us back to nepal!! Will be coming back up from brisbane just to visit here again. Thank you for a great meal
Food was delicious, and the service top notch. They were able to provide me with a doggy bag when I couldn't fit all the yummy food in.
What a great spot....real Nepalese food...so yummy. Fast and friendly. Lots of seating wide choice of vegan meals too
There was a big function on out the back and we were still really well looked after. The food was fantastic, highly recommended.

Really authentic Nepali test Finally something we will enjoy in Gympi as name of Indian and Nepali Food will come again.. and staff is friendly too.
