Unbeatable pricing but unpredictable stock levels. I can rarely buy what I go in to get, and the table-service style layout they have means I can only choose from what I can see from the counter. Very helpful staff and happy to help you out with reservations on products, but the low price is literally the only reason I still shop there. Call weeks in advance if you need something specific, otherwise you'll walk out with something shiny and new, but be left wondering what might have been.
Quick and easy to deal with especially if you check stock levels and then order online to pickup from the store. Have done this multiple times with no problems. Prices are extremely good and staff are efficient and competent, I’m not there for a chat just to buy the parts/items I need. Having said that any questions I do ask are answered without hesitation.
No frills needed at this establishment, just get in and get it done. Multiple visits and I've always got what I needed and gotten out in minutes. Sometimes a speedy resolution to my shopping situation is just as valuable as beautiful surrounds or great service, so if you're after a wham bam thank you ma'am shopping experience this is your jam
Got what i needed, item that was on the price list, but not on the online storecould not check for stock lvl M. 2 samsung 1tb 970evo plus. Calling store goes to a call centre, which uses online stock control.. You cant get them to hold a item, so you can go down and pick it up. we use to do thus before call center existed. Parking good, but store is out of the middle of nowhere. Their is probably a lot of items in store, but if you cant see them, you dont buy them. This is a store where the just sell it.. Dont ask for advice. Prices most of the time are good, with the odd item cheaper elsewhere when on special. Not done warranty here, but at the port Adelaide store a few years ago. closed now warranty was ok, iv seen it where a faulty m/board out of box, they wanted it returned to the city store, for testing, it took 1 month to get a new board... within 7 days if item faulty out of box, it should be replaced with a new one asap. It can take some time for warrenty... Depending on item. Price you pay for cheaper prices, but little to No support. support cost money. On the city store, i got a $45 matx case, that had a bad usb front header, they gave me a swap header, cable. Asap next day. just change cable, not hole case. msy great if you want to buy it That day, for stock, as ordering interstate, takes a while pccase gear/mwave etc People are always polite, and easy to deal with.
Excellent prices and excellent service to match, I got served by Jimmy and he was great Update: Excellent service again I wanted two ssd 2.5 inch drive bay converters and was asked if I wanted one converter which could hold two drives which saved me a couple dollars
Great prices and variety, stock is a bit of an issue but can be overcome. Staff are much nicer than other MSY's I've been to. Make sure you know what you want before buying!
Good prices as with other MSY stores. Know what you want before you go in the store as staff don't provide much assistance. Not all parts are stocked in all stores so you may walk out empty handed or with something slightly different. Overall a good store
Staff are not knowledgeable but thats a good thing here. Do-not engage staff in conversation. Simply highlight the items you require on a printout of the price list, hand it to the clerk and hope they have your desired items in stock. Nodding and crossing your head for yes and no is ok.
Got served by a very knowledgeable staff member for purchasing a case, very friendly and helpful. Would reccommend for shopping for pc parts and peripherals, much cheaper than any other retail stores in Adelaide.
Great service, friendly staff, tested a Ram for compatibility and when it didn't work it was higher speed GeiL, I just returned it. Will definitely come and buy again.
