Just tried to contact them for the fourth time in four years. Nobody answered the phone for the fourth time in a row. Maybe they should get an answer phone or forward their calls to a station that actually has someone there. I wonder how long it took for them to do something about the lost drivers licence I stuck through the door when the place was deserted on an afternoon during the week....
I called this number, a young lady answer the phone and said they open 24 hours??!!! When we arrived at the police station, it's closed...
I have been asked to forward a poor driving/vehicle condition email sent to Auckland City Council, to the Police for investigation. After nearly 30 mins online trying to find an appropriate means to do this and 2 calls one 2 different listed numbers to Mt Wellington Police station, I'm giving up as neither phone was answered despite being within the operating hours. It seems the police can be extremely unavailable and/or unwilling at times to assist the public they serve. A recent incident at the Morrin Rd intersection by the railway bridge was also not important to deal with despite the situation being a danger to motorists. My faith in the police is rapidly declining based on personal experience.

Absolutely useless call them an a emergency to check on a person ..the not even keen to give them call ..what a joke .
