So disappointing, took wifes car in without an appointment as she had stalled the morning before. I could see they were busy, but didn't mind leaving it with them as i live walking distance. I told them what the problem was as per the manual.
They called around the end of the business day & asked if they could keep it overnight as they didn't get a chance to look at it, which i thought was understandable as it was short notice.
Next day Nigel rings & gives a diagnosis which i think is unrelated to the cause of the problem, but i agree to his solution as my mechanical aptitude only qualifies me to check oil & water. 
Wife has to walk to pick up the car at the end of business on day 2 as i am a shift worker & she's told to keep an eye on the heat gauge to which she replied that the car had never overheated... $143 later & the problem we wanted diagnosed still exists! 
I remember good old YouTube & find the cause which my regular mechanic(my neighbour at my old residence) confirms by plugging in a little diagnostic thingamajiggy which he bought online... & Mosleys which i see are celebrating their 30th anniversary don't have a more advanced thingamajig which my mechanic said they have at his workplace!
This was 2 weeks before Xmas2017... heartless, worst of all i have to drive past this business everyday.
If this guy had good business sense, would he not have thought this could be prospective repeat business as i told him i had bought a house around the corner & hence the reason i decided to give them a go.
If i can save anyone reading this, their hard earned coin, then the time it's taken me to share my experience is my reward!
Oh... & to add insult to injury, i found one of the old hose clamps which was unnecessarily replaced, left in the engine bay, which i removed with a simple magnetic telescopic aerial type tool, which i guess is not on their inventory!

Great job on my car. Explained everything that needed doing and quoted clearly. Easy going and friendly team. Well priced too
