A quick, easy and painless purchase done on Friday 23rd December. The busiest time of the year and yet I walked in and walked out super happy with my new phone. All questions were answered and wasn't pushed into it. Was able to make my decision and the sales team were very nice. Will definitely be going back for my future electronic purchases. Well done team!
I visited the store 15:30 Tuesday 09/08/22 and made a purchase of $749 value item. I unexpectedly had payment issue due to the e-gift card limit. The girls at the checkout are extremely friendly, patient and resourceful and helped me out. If I could rate more than 5 stars then I definitely would. This was the most patient customer service I've ever enjoyed in the past decade. Really amazing and impressed. Great team work. Great service. It was a win for JB Hifi to have such excellent staff!! Thanks girls!!
Products and price are ok. But the service from some of them is dreadful. I've been in here around 12times. 1 was very pleasant and knowledgeable Another was the same and sold me ear buds. I love them so I own 2 now. There's a lady at the front door who is pleasant. Bur I've dealt with 2 who seemed to have no clue either where items are or any knowledge 1 called for help the other just basically said he didn't know All the other times there's been little to no service with my most recent probably the worst. I went to collect an online order and no matter what I said whether in a light hearted way or being grateful I could not get a smile or any kind words from her. I told her what I was there for, she asked and got details plus ID and left with nothing said so had no clue if she was getting the parcel or not, yep most likely she was but its not hard to say ' Thanks ill just go get this for you now, won't be long' Even she gave me the items still no smile. I really wish companies would hire and train people who not only want to work but are happy to be employed
Went in to buy a laptop after doing a bit of research and finding something I liked that was on sale. It was a Lenovo. One of the sales team recommended something similar, which was a pretty decent HP laptop but didn't meet all of my needs. However, I think they tried to rip me off? While I was in the store I looked up this laptop to see if I could find any reviews for it. In doing so, I found the same laptop on the JB website, $100 cheaper than the price I was quoted in store. I would usually assume this was a situation where the salesperson simply misread or misremembered the price, but they had walked away a few seconds prior to "double check" the price. On top of that, the HP laptop they recommended to me had like... almost zero reviews online. Most of the reviews I found honestly looked like they were left by bot accounts across multiple different websites - not just the JB website, which actually had zero reviews. It didn't have any review articles on computer websites like PC mag either. Kinda weird. I do remember the salesperson's name but I feel bad snitching so I won't mention it here. I'm still happy with what I did end up purchasing but disappointed that they seemingly tried to rip me off. Keep an eye out on advertised vs quoted prices when you shop here.
Made a TV claim in July was advised someone would contact me with an update when the replacement will be delivered as there was no ETA for that stock. A month later I’ve rung back follow up just to be transferred to multiple departments and staff dropping the call I finally got onto the department Manager “Anthony” and he wasn't helpful either. Brushing of the fact that my claim wasn’t actioned from there end, he spoke too fast and didn’t show any care in the world how useless there staff are. Customer service is poor and have an unprofessional way of dealing with claims. Do not recommend this store. Period. Issue still unresolved at this point.
Get the right staff member and you will be fine. They have quality products here but the trick here is finding the right person to give you the right deal. Most are just there for the pay, some DO want to help you out.
Worse place ever to shop for iPads really rude service people that talk down on you and try and sell you other things and then we you ask can you pay for it and it get delivered the response is your guess is as good as mine when it will be delievered! Was about to drop $2000 plus in the store as well and the workers don’t even want to serve you or are nice
I needed help , and there were no staff available on the floor so I went to the counter looking for more staff that may be available . The girl was very unhelpful and would not help me find anyone to help. Seems staff have better things to do then help customers unfortunately. So I went to EB games who were absolutely wonderful and made a purchase there .
Bought an expensive item from this store that failed during the warranty period. Took back to store, item was sent for repair, 8 weeks later I received it back however still not working. Raised that the item still doesnt work with staff, was told "Sorry the warranty has now expired". Staff refused to repair, replace or refund or any compensation of any kind, other than "We can do a good deal on another item". Complaint lodged with ACCC.
Could not complain about service we had Ben at Logan Hyperdome who help us out with our phone. Store is easy to find things & also some very good specials.
