fabulous service from council today. Amanda has great people skills . Definitely the right person for her job plus knowledgable, helpful and informative. One communicates with so many people these days who have no business working on the phone with the public. This lady is definitely in the right place. Thank you Amanda. Bronnie P

I just wanted to say what a fantastic job your staff are doing on the upkeep of the waterside walkways and parks. They are always courteous and friendly. And congratulations on the Council for the organisation of such a great effort. Many thanks.

I rate this council very highly. Let me tell you a story. I have quite a small yard and I don't want to keep my bins in the front yard, so I keep them in the run around the side of my house - it was the most logical decision for me. I have an apiary and a large dog so keeping them out of the way is a necessity. I also use the run to store the build up of manure, which I sell for small amounts to various people here and there. I recently received a letter from the council, the contents of this letter were as follows: Dear *****, It has recently come to our attention that there is an odour emanating from your domicile. We are writing this letter to inform you that it has caused a disturbance with some of the local residents. Sincerely Moreton Bay Regional Council I'm only writing this review to express my sincere love for the council I live under. They didn't ask me to move it, they didn't tell me they would do something about it, they simply let me know. The best part of this whole story is I still haven't moved the bins or the manure. Why would someone complain to the council about a smell? Just come ask me! I can find somewhere else for it! I might even write an article for the local paper. Thanks MBRC
