Rang the council to ask one question. Left my number for someone from a private number to ring me back, as they suggest. I heard a ping on my phone to have a message telling me to ring the council back. I did this only to go through the sam situation. someone will ring you back....again I got a message to ring the council. Third attempt, I stayed on the phone. Vacuumed my house whilst waiting, with phone in one hand. Finally had a person answer. When explain what had been happening, I was told it was my fault for not answering the phone or something is wrong with my phone. Gee, if I had known that I wouldn't answered my other three phone calls this morning. I will now be late wirh my council account and see how quick they contact me about that. P.s. I rang to ask about how to dispose of paint...now I know why people just put it in their bins...
I’m so pleased with the assistance I’m getting regarding ongoing issues with my neighbours the council are trying everything in their power to help where possible and we greatly thank them for all the support we are receiving
Aagghh.. The wind last week uprooted a fine tree in the park abutting my home..nI contacted M.B.C last week 1.06.22 Wedand on 3.06.22 Fri I received a visit from a Council employee who took particulars .nToday Mon 6.06.22 and I note that the tree has been lifted back ... and tied with rope to two star pickets... see pic.nPlease convey my thanks for such speedy service..
I called the Council when a stray dog followed us home when walking our dog. It was Australia Day but the rangers were at our place in about 2 hours. Very professional.nI wanted to follow-up to see if the dog had been reunited with its owner so I visited the pound about a ten days later. They were so helpful. The lady who helped me clearly cared about the animals and took her job very seriously. She spent time searching and was able to tell me that dog and owner were reunited. Thank you for the work you do.
I can see a lot less than empowering reviews here, but have to say that whenever I have had the need to visit the Strathpine reception office or used their telephone reporting facility, I have always been met with positive feelings after my encounters with the the staff.nnThe staff have always been polite, calm and helpful at all times and deserve recognition.
