I was reluctant to come here after reading the reviews but I came down to do a licence application and was served by a young lady called Jessica, she was extremely helpful and went out of her way to call relevant parties to make sure my application was done properly, very polite and it’s a shame there are so many people tarnishing the name of this post office. Thanks again Jessica!
I have waited all day for my delivery. I left the front door open so the delivery person would know that I was home. At 3.30pm I checked my mail box to find a note to say that I had to pick the parcel up from the post office tomorrow. The so called delivery person did not come to my front door and knock or ring the bell. If he/she is being paid to do deliveries then why don’t they deliver the goods? Delivery had been paid for so why should I have to go and collect the goods myself? This is really poor customer service!
Members of staff are extremely rude here. After trying to collect a parcel I was spoken to in a rude and condescending tone. Basically suffled out the door before I could have my say. I find this ridiculous as I have to collect parcels from here. Ive lodged a formal complaint in hopes something will be done. Seems like im not the only one after reading the other reviews on here.
I was on the the phone after making a complaint about the driver who came to my house while I was home and left a note instead of waiting for me to get to the door. AUS post said that the driver would drop their items off at the post office after they finish their shift so if I go to the post office before closing, i could pick up my item. I was really mad because I paid for express shipping and now would have to wait an extra 3 days for my item because of that drivers incompetence. So I waited all day to find out where they had taken my package. The lady I saw at Brendale said I would have to wait three days to pick up my item and just sent me away because she was too lazy and uncaring to assist me. I tried to ask her what happens to my package because she was directly contradicting what I’d heard on the phone but she was very rude and just wanted me gone. I even asked if they just kept my package in a van for three days but she refused to answer. I expected better of AUS but that was before I saw the terrible review for Brendale. I will now expect the worst service possible coming through brendale post office. Thank for nothing. Don’t wreck my $130 package while it sits sun baking in a van for three days.
Stood there in tears begging for them to let me pick up my babies formula after showing a photo of my licence, 3 bank cards, my mortgage documents, bank statements and still wasn’t enough. Can’t believe the women is still working there after so many awful experiences
Younger staff member had no clue, older staff memb er wasn't any better i.e. couldn't be bothered. I had to go elsewhere.
The main lady who serves is rude every single time I have visited. I gave written consent for someone to collect my parcel and was told that my signature 'wasn't real' and looked like a scribble therefore the person was almost denied my parcel BECAUSE of that. Most people I know in the area have also had a bad experience with this woman.
I’ve been using this post office for years. The ladies are always lovely. I don’t have a problem showing photo ID to collect parcels because it’s a service that operates under federal law. It’s their job to check every time and I respect them for doing their jobs. If you understand that it is a federal offense to open someone else’s mail you could surmise that there are probably strict requirements for their job, like asking to check for photo ID, and consequences for them for not following procedures.
Believe the bad reviews. Mail never gets to its destination with this post office. Very poor.
The women who work at this Post Office need to realise it is NOT the Crown Jewels they are protecting, it is our mail. Read that again - OUR mail. Gifts for our children, products we have ordered and paid for. We shouldn't have to show 500 forms of ID and stand on one leg to get OUR items. Especially when we have been through the whole procedure before and they know who we are. We go there every day, we have a PO Box there, we make purchases there. They are not in training for the Specialist Police Secret Fraud Operations of Mail in Brendale the terrorist capital of the world, they are employed as customer service representatives for Australia Post. The customer service is non-existent at this outlet and unfortunately we have no control over which Post Office our mail is taken to if we are not at home to collect it. I would drive an hour to collect my mail from another Post Office because at least then I wouldn't be accused of trying to steal someone else's mail. How would I know someone else had mail waiting for them anyway??? And why would I want it if I didn't know what was in there??? It's not only crazy, it's offensive.
