My husband and I had our first interaction with Centrelink at Strathpine, QLD and a FIS officer - Chris and it was 11/10. Thank you Chris for being respectful, courteous, spending time answering our numerous questions and all round good guy. I feel proud that Australia has Chris at the front line helping our most vulnerable population. Thank you
I had never been to Centrelink before and my experience was all positive - Ginelle looked after me professionally and sympathetically and made sure I didn't leave until I had everything sorted - MyGov is a beggar to use !!!!

Customer service was excellent, all i needed was done very quickly with the help of the staff.
I've had a number of hit and miss experiences with Centrelink especially their phone services, however I went into Centrelink today and had excellent results. the staff member that assisted me made the process so simple and answered every question I had without making it a big deal. given the fact that my claim had been in progress for weeks with no answers once completed they were kind enough to fast-track my claim for me. overall great experience with the Strathpine office.
Busy, unhelpful, dehumanising and sent away to try to work it all out online.
Went into Centrelink, never been or have had anything to do with Centrelink. I was very frustrated and annoyed when I asked to talk to some about a situation and got shunted off to computers. Had no clue what to do and had no idea how to log in. Asked for assistance and got told I needed a Centrelink code but because I've never used Centrelink I didn't have one. I asked the lady again if I could talk to someone seen as I've never had any experience with Centrelink. Lady told me it will be over an hour wait. If she let me see someone the first time I asked it would of been a lot shorter and easier process. Was not happy and left very annoyed.
I believe the staff do the best they can. I believe there have been staff cuts in the last few years.It is worth keeping this in mind. I found myself unemployed after working in government. I have always had great help from staff when I have presented to the office. Much better to go in person rather than phone.
Debbie is incredible! Other medicare offices refused to help me because it would take too much time and Debbie had everything sorted in 4 mins! I wish the best for Debbie, you are a star! Wish everyone was as nice and efficient as her!
