Monopole is a European-style wine bar and eatery in Potts Point, run by multi award-winning hospitality team Brent Savage and Nick Hildebrandt.

Story

Brent’s unique flavours are complemented by a wine list that features over 500 rare and boutique wines, including over 30 by the glass or carafe.

Melbourne architect Pascal Gomes-McNabb has turned her hand to the interior design which features rich dark woods and industrial metals.

My husband and I went to Monopole to celebrate our anniversary. I couldn't fault it! A lovely casual atmosphere and light, airy decor. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Fantastic wine list and the food was simply scrumptious.

Service was average but the foods were fantastic. When I visited there, at that time, I was on a diet so I didn't consume any dessert but I ended up ordering dessert since all the food was exceptional and I'm glad that I ordered desserts. They were good too. Bit too crowded but really worth to try. Will definitely come back.

Food is excellent and good value. Absolutely love the new fitout. Dish of the night was the cucumber with smoked sour cream and salmon roe.

Lovely dining room. Great food. Great drinks. Wonderful service. Found the recommendations of the somm and waiters to be spot on. Really enjoyed the evening.

Delicious, and excellent service. Very good wine list! Had a wonderful evening.
