I ordered fried eggs which were so overcooked the yoke was hard with a side of SAUTÉED kale. They served me RAW kale covered in oil and garlic from a jar. But it was raw! I could not eat it as I can’t eat raw kale due to my digestion. When they cleared my plate which sat on my table for 30 minutes after I finished eating while i read the Sunday paper I then pointed out that they kale had not been cooked as advertised so I hadn’t eaten it. I then packed up to leave and during that time she bought it back still uncooked btw and said the chef RE-sautéed it. But it was 30 minutes after I’d eaten and it was when I was leaving. And then even though I’m a regular - they made me pay for the raw falsely advertised kale. I will never go back until they can empty a cook who can fry a simple egg runny yoke is not hard to do or cook kale
Down the road from Kings Cross Station lives Glider Cafe, a delightful little spot with a solid menu. Generally sporting lighter fare, Glider provides excellent service and basic but charming surrounds to enjoy your meal in.
Lots of choice on the menu with great fusion options for classic cafe food. I went with the courgette and corn fritters which were superb.
For such a small place I feel like this must be the best-kept secret in the neighbourhood. There are some real gems in the menu, the Thai Omelette I had this morning was simply the best and the service is really friendly. You can tell these guys love what they do.
If you’re hungover, need a coffee or an awesome omelette this little place will save you. Always service with a smile!
Fantastic place, very friendly service with a good selection of food and drinks. The coffee is out of this world, one of the nicest coffee I have ever had. Food is normal breakfast fare, with some interesting Thai variations, the smoothies looked very good. Nice peaceful location off the main area, with cosy seats inside and outsideFood: 5/5
Very cute and charming café — the coffee was good, staff friendly and the atmosphere lovely. The only slight downside was the state of the bathroom not the cleanest and the fact that my avocado-kale salad was surprisingly sweet which was not mentioned in the menu. Overall, a nice experience though!
Best cafe in Potts Point! The coffee and food here is amazing, and the people are always happy and friendly - they really care about their customers. If you’re dropping by I recommend the Thai Omelette or one of their fruit/granola bowls!
My lovely neighbor cafe!!! I feel so lucky to live so close to Glider as they have absolutely amazing coffee and offer many many choices of food. Staff members are always super friendly and helpful. During this Covid time they even have online system for customers to order online before arriving. Big support from me to my local cafe!
Super cute spot on the quiet side of Kings Cross station. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and they're clearly well trained baristas. Our food took a little longer than expected because someone before us had a huge order, but they were happy to quickly switch it to takeaway and we had a delightful meal.Food: 5/5
