Excellent food in cheap price. Generous portions. Liked the ambiance of the restaurant. If you are staying in the Potts Point locality then one should try out food in this amazing restaurant.
Food was tasty and affordable. They are not licensed to sell alcohol so don’t expect to have a beer with your meal. Service is quick but it lacks customer orientation. You feel they make you a favour to be there. Close time is 10:00PM according to Google. We arrived at 9:30 PM and the host initially said last order was at 9:30. I showed her the time and it was showing 9:30. She grudgingly sat us. Another lady rushes menus at the table and tells us to hurry our orders. We did that. When food arrived we gulped it in while they were busily closing down the place. When finished, I walked to the front to thank them for the meal. One of the lady’s responds with “OK Bye Now” as if she is annoyed I’m still there. Different standards…with a bit of customer orientation I feel this place could be great
I have been getting food from here for years. Their noodle and fried dished are good but recently their curry/stir fries are lagging behind. I ordered duck massaman curry and it was watery watery like a soup , potato not cooked properly. Clearly just roast duck dumped on a watery base. This is the second time this dish was bad. The Tom Yum fried rice pork was great. So yeah hit and miss. Recommend only getting the noodle, fried rice dishes as these are great here.
Your female front-of-house was charming and went out of her way to find us and deliver your extraordinarily unpleasant food. Seriously guys, when you order the ‘Chef’s Special Roast Duck’ you don’t expect random pineapple pieces, unidentifiable seafood blobs and carrots. The sweetness of the curry was beyond belief - so bad we couldn’t eat it. With your entree of mixed money bags, spring rolls etc, there were peanuts or cashew nuts in one of the offerings. That’s my fault - I should’ve checked first. I’m violently allergic to peanuts. Spat it out just in time. Hey, if you’re Thai chefs, cook genuine Thai food. Don’t try and cater to everyone. Minimize your menu to the dishes you excel at. Please. Melbourne and Adelaide tourists expect a much higher standard - even in Kings Cross. One more thing - I suspect 80% of your 5 star reviews are from family and friends. Like I said before, just cook what you know and are good at. Keep it authentic, cos you’re in a great location. Good luck
Food is exactly like Thailand! Try their Papaya Medium Hot salad
Sorry to say, but this was a miss for me. Popular place with both Asians and non-Asians. But I ordered 2 things panang curry duck and pad see ew beef and both had diluted flavors. Maybe I suddenly got COVID, but I doubt it. But hey, try for yourself and see. The staff is nice and this place is always busy. Maybe it’s just me.
Good price for a delicious food. I like their papaya salad. Wide range of food choices in their menu. Bit small place for dine-in but really cozy. Will eat again in this place.
If you want Thai food that reminds you of your trip to Thailand - this is the place to go. Delicious, generous servings and a good price. Friendly service.Food: 5/5
Love this place, probably my favourite Thai restaurant even against the more expensive restaurants. Food is delicious, very cheap, and very quick to be served. Staff are super friendly, remember their regulars orders even without being asked. I come here at least once a week.
Nice place unpretentious, authentic Thai Food. 3 times I came, and 3 times I was totally satisfied, by the price, the staff, and especially about food! Delicious Massaman Duck, Pad See Ew Crispy Pork and Pad See Ew Duck very nice dishes, with a price really wise. The waitress is very kind, really important.... I highly recommend it
