We found the dress at our first visit at Modes Bridal in Feb last year. From the initial consultation to the efficient correspondence in between, to the handy in house alteration team. The whole process has been so smooth with Diane and her team.  With one week out from our wedding day we actually experienced every bride's worst nightmare - the dress no longer fitting!! However, Diane was so prompt, reassuring, and got onto it asap for us.  For that we are most grateful and would highly recommend this service to any future bride. Susan & Jonathan

I had a great experience with modes! Diane was very friendly and helpful. Modes has lots of beautiful dresses and a wide range of variety! It was super easy to get alterations done, and communication was fast and efficient. I would highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for a wedding dress.

I have to come here and say I am so blown away by the absolutely lovely experience I had today with the wonderful ladies at Modes. I felt so at ease when trying on dresses and was given/shown different things I could do with each dress i felt no pressure at all like other places and I felt like I was so well looked after and my needs and wants were listened to with the greatest respect. It was truly a magical experience and I am so over the moon because after going to many bridal places before hand and felt a bit overwhelmed and stressed with the try ons i felt so at ease at Modes bridal and i said YES to the dress of course. Today was just so lovely. Thank you both for making my time there so special

A range of one of a kind top quality gowns you can’t find anywhere else in Auckland, the name Pronovias speaks for itself! Not only that, the team at Modes Bridal were extremely helpful and friendly and catered to all of my needs. The team helped me find my dream dress and managed to get it altered for the perfect fit. Very excited to be able to wear such a beautiful gown for my special day! Highly recommend.

Diane and Sam are the most amazing team. They make you feel comfortable the moment you enter the store, they listen to your ideas, and let you take your time when making a decision. Diane is very knowledgeable on all things bridal, I trust her opinion completely! Sam makes you feel at ease and ensures you can seamlessly slip between dresses during your consultation. I couldn't recommend Modes Bridal enough!

After visiting several wedding boutiques all around NZ, it was an absolute pleasure to deal with Diane and her fabulous team at Modes. They have such a huge range of beautiful dresses that really deliver on style and quality. In terms of customer service, they knew exactly what I wanted in a dress which made the process so easy and enjoyable. They were fantastic to deal with and nothing was a problem. I will forever be grateful to Diane for her patience and guidance, in helping me find my dream dress.

An awful experience for what should have been a beautiful moment to share with my nearest and dearest. We all left the store unhappy with the service we received. First issue is that all the dresses are in smaller sizes for try ons which means if you aren’t super skinny, the dresses you can try on are limited. After this, the ladies who were helping us also found out I had fallen in love with a beautiful dress at another store and they asked to see a photo… they then proceeded to criticise the dress and tell me why I shouldn’t get it. After this, I decided the appointment wasn’t going anywhere so tried to leave and they said no no, try one more and then you can go. They then proceeded to try to sell me very hard on a dress I was not confident or comfortable in. I left the appointment feeling very disheartened and self conscious about my own body.  Their response to my experience is a clear demonstration of the lack of concern and care for potential clients.

I took my gorgeous daughter-in-law to be into Modes to look at wedding dresses. It was fairly late in the day and the lady finished with a customer and then came to help us. We went upstairs and tried a couple of dresses neither of which were right. We went back downstairs and my DILTB found a sales rack of everything under $1,000. Oh, I said, this is much more X’s budget. The lady sensing she wasn’t getting a sale, was then exceptionally cruel to X and made an unforgivable comment about her size. We were both so flabbergasted that I paid the $70 charge which was never explained to us at the outset and left. I wish I hadn’t paid as she definitely didn’t deserve recompense for being so unkind. We will never go back.  Making an additional comment to my review seems to be the only way I can respond to the owners reply. We visited your store, and yes it was definitely that address at 26 McColl Street on February 21st. We did not have an appointment so that is why it’s not in your book. My DILTB was not disappointed she was horrified and hurt by your comment. We couldn’t get out of the store fast enough hence my payment without questioning the validity of it.
