An awful experience from start to finish. They had my car for over 2 weeks with no communication. They used the excuse that they have a lot of cars to get through and they're understaffed. Don't take on so much work then? Then when they were finally ready to give my car back, they threatened me with fees for storage if I didn't come pick it up right away. And the cherry on the cake is - not only did they not fix anything on my car - they broke my seatbelt and refused to fix it. Plus, they left dirty footprints and finger print stains all throughout my vehicle. Horrendous.

I got insured by RAC they reffer me to modern collison, it was very bad experience. if u insurance with RAC Ask them to refer you to different car repair. It took so long to get quote... after u got quote you still have to wait for some days to be book for repairment. After you get booked they can not give u exact estimate time how long for your car to finish. I only have small scratches in my car they told me max 1 week eventhough it look like 3 days jobs to repair. after one week i ask them they said they never told me 1 week He said they normally tell the customers 10 days time max, seems they never communicate each other, you ask different people they give u different answer. after ten days my car still not finish. I told them I m hiring car which cost me money everytime delay. but seems they don’t care. very bad costumer service, no parking, too cowded with car waiting to be repaired, no friendly and smiley faces.. they tried to give u less information. if u not ask they won’t give u explaination.. I would put ZERO STARS FOR THEM IF I COULD
This was a nightmare to go through. Had my car broken into through driver side window so rac sent my car here for repairs.... This is where the fun begins, First lack of communication from Modern Colission. Service wasn't the best but I was not going to fault them on poor customer service as long as my car was fixed..... However..... First time I picked my "ready for a few weeks" car in which I had to call RAC to find out where it was and then call them to find out if it was ready the brake lights didn't work, ABS light wouldn't turn off, traction control didn't work and the cruse control didn't work. RAC towed it back to Modern to be repaired again. Some time went past and I call up to find out yes it's been ready for 2 weeks. again no one called me or left a message or e-mail to say this Get to the car and do a lights check with them watching. Brakes worked, Indicators now didn't work. Waited inside reception for them to "fix" the problem. As soon as I got my car back again did another check and drove to my usual auto electrician which found the problem that was STILL not fixed and had it repaired in 10 minutes... The same problem in which Modern Colission took 2.5 MONTHS to fix and still didn't. Another note I'll make was my driver side door trim was vandalised and there solution instead of replacing like I was advised would happen, they seem to have sanded down the plastic to hide the scratches. If you can go anywhere else definitely do it. I have also sent in a note to RAC that I am lodging a formal complaint as the service was that bad....
Staff are nice enough but repair quality is shocking, had my car repaired and after waiting to get the car back as expected I picked it up and there was swirl marks everywhere, spots where it had been buffed back too far and damaged the paint and headlights that get condensation stuck inside them. I took the car back and was provided a loan car which was good to get, but after getting my car back the second time in the sun the swirl marks are just as bad, various marks on the paint, spots where the paint was on spots it shouldn't be overspray. Honestly quite disappointed in the repair quality from this repairer, someone recommended by RAC should actually do a decent job, not like I have the time to get this sorted with the long hours I work. Lovely staff but they definitely need to work on improving repair quality by a lot. Would not recommend and if RAC is taking your car here tell them you want a different repairer. 1/5 is only due to the loan car and friendly staff otherwise it would be a 0/5.
They fixed my parents golf after front end danaged. Headlights are so low you can't drive at night. Rear bumper was missing and they didn't fix it or attempt to fix it. Passenger side mirror glass missing. The front of the car repairs are good however.
Pam and the staff at Modern Collision Repairs were amazing and made me feel at complete ease after my car accident. My car came back in under the allocated time, in immaculate condition inside and out, not to mention runs like a dream! Thank you so much guys, I'll be recommending you to everyone I know!
Absolutely the worst service ever. Avoid at all cost. Waited 3 months to get the car back and on the day of pick up, there was a big scratch down the side of the car. Apparently happened "in transit". Have to wait another week for the car and no complimentry vehicle offered because "it might not be their fault". Again, avoid these guys if possible.
