Yesterday we came into the store to purchase replacement tent poles, and the lady who assisted us went above and beyond to help. She organised for fibreglass to be cut, which they do not usually do, and stayed with us throughout the entire decision and purchase process. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful.
This is a great place to shop. You can get pretty much anything you want for your do it yourself projects and it has a great garden centre too. You can also get a good coffee and something to eat from the cafe too.
I’d just like to share my experience at Mitre 10 New Plymouth this week. Of all things, I was after a small bin for my caravan. I went in and purchased a slide-out one for the cupboard, but when I got home, it unfortunately didn’t fit.nnThe next day, I went back in to exchange it. At the service desk, I was greeted by one of the most friendly and hospitable young ladies I’ve come across in a long time. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with her — she genuinely brightened my day. She asked if there was anything else I’d like to exchange it for, but at that stage, there wasn’t, so she quickly and easily refunded the money back to my card.nnI then had a walk around the store and actually found the perfect bin that would work. When I went up to the counter, I was served by the same lady I’d dealt with the day before, and she recognised me straight away. We had another great chat, and it really added to the experience.nnI even asked one of the team members on the shop floor where the bins were located, and he personally walked me straight to the correct aisle — polite, helpful, and efficient.nnAll in all, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Returning the wrong bin was easy, finding the right one was simple, and the staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming.nnWell done, Mitre 10 New Plymouth — outstanding customer service!

Love this mitre 10, everyone is so helpful and friendly. The cafe is excellent, such great coffee. We come here weekly and love it. Highly recommend
