My husband and I enjoyed a very nice lunch at Miss Mauds today. I had poached eggs with sour dough toast and fried My hubby had a Vegan Burger. The coffee was good as was the prompt service. The girl who appears to be the Maitre D is excellent, and euns the shift well- she has a great rapport with her staff and customers. ‍

Always enjoy getting a pastry from here. Staff are really good.
Terrible. They were closing at 4pm and rushed us out. The cake was dry and not fresh. Won't be returning. One positive was the kids milkshakes they were generous for the price.
Not the usual Miss Maud quality. Prices are a bit high for what you get. Staff were accomodating and polite.
The quality of food is far below standard. And the manager called Jess is extremely rude. Keep giving me blank stare and being impatient when I ask something about the food. It would be my first and last time to come to this shop ever again. Very disappointed.
I was refused service due to only having cash might I remind anyone who doesn't know that a business does not have the right to refuse cash as payment for goods and services. Above all it was publicly embarrassing in front of other customers as if I was dirty or was spreading covid.
In a bit of a noisy/ busy area, but nice food and good service
