Great coffee place to have a sip of coffee or other beverages especially when we have a membership card of "buy one get one free" offer. We have tried their Latte & Cuppaccino from different outlets, they were all very good. But this time, we went to the one in Karrinyup Centre, they were very busy, we were told to wait for 25 minutes and also 15% surcharge, we finally just walked away as we didn't have time to wait.
The service was excellent. The cashier was very calm and receptive. The waiters were fast and well mannered. They kept the place organised without delays. There was not a single moment an empty table was seen left to be cleaned. They were spotless and timeless. However, the most important thing, the food, wasn’t really good. My toddler had a kid’s fried egg on toast and it was awful. The egg was way over cooked. Her hash brown was oily and warm nothing like crispy. The bread was buttered, but clearly not enough as she didn’t touch it after first bite. She spat the piece of egg she ate probably too chewy?. I had a crispy chicken burger which was good. However, my chips were horrible. Super salty, oily soggy and soft.
I give 3 stars because all was excellent except Chocolate chip muffin. It was doughy...I let lady know and she said she will let Manager know. Not happy with feedback from Manager IF he/she got message. Hopefully they will change muffin.
The Piccola had a slight flavour of chocolate, a bit sour and sweet. Good to go with a small cup of milk. That drink gave me a strong boost to shop again. Haha! cheers! 2021-12
I would have a photo of my drink but "we are so sorry we forgot your drink and now the coffee machine is turned off" They're playing around throwing water around while the manager stands at the till wondering what he is going to do with the rest of his life.... not much if he can't run this shop.
Good coffee, food can be a bit touch and go however. Ordered poached eggs with my veggie breakfast meal but they were basically hard boiled, no golden runny insides at all. Also only gave one hasbrown so I had to order another one just personal preference. Overall tasty, just some finer details to be addressed.
Today was my second Eggs Benedict I’ve ordered and again, it was excellent. June 12, 2021 ~9:15am. The bread was beautifully toasted golden, not hard cut through. The ham was warmed nicely and the sides of bacon were crispy but not burnt. If anything I would prefer more hollandaise sauce, but that is a personal preference. It was about a 15 minute turnaround. A wonderful consistent breakfast. Amazing quality for being a stall in the middle of a shopping mall.
Ordered and paid for a large flat white and a frappe and only the frappé arrived after quite a wait. When we asked about the flat white, we were told that it was somehow missed, the coffee machine was now switched off and would I like a refund. Well, I think a refund would be the bare minimum, no? Seeing that I haven’t received what I’ve paid for, and you’ve wasted our time? I then had to follow the waitress back to the till, only for the manager to slide the cash refund across the counter to me with a, “Sorry, as you can see, the coffee machine has been taken apart for cleaning already.” Excuse me, did you just get me to follow you back to the counter so I could receive the manager’s pithy apology and pick up my cash refund, and to see for myself that the coffee machine has been switched off?? Was the manager shackled to the till and unable to come over? Was the cash refund too heavy to be walked over to our table? Did you really want me to see that your nice big coffee machine wouldn’t be making any coffee? There was no offer to make another drink that didn’t involve the coffee machine, or any other gesture to make good their mistake. So my husband had to sit there -without his coffee - and watch me finish my drink. Fun times.
Ridiculous service. Sufficient numbers of servers yet they couldn’t quite figure out a good system for their supposed rush hour. So many tables left unattended with rubbish from previous diners. Drinks were coming out quick but food was slow to get out, the poor kitchen staff only 2 were getting so frustrated ringing the bell yet no one was attending to the food - you could literally see the plates piling up and getting cold. Unfortunately we only got 3/4 of our order and if my kids weren’t so hungry I would have asked for a full refund! Would we go back? Probably not.
Loved the bacon and egg wrap as I only wanted a small meal. fast efficient service kept the hunger at bay even on a very busy day.Food: 4/5
