Mezzo is situated in the theatre precinct of the Melbourne CBD. Over the last seven years Mezzo has become not only the “go to” restaurant for pre-theatre dining, but also a consistently reliable option for many regular diners.

This bar/club is bad from music to security and bartenders. Too long of a wait to get drinks and security are feeling like king when customers pay for theirs drinks. Overall the prices for drinks are regular if you want more ice than your beverage… great tourists over there until you get the full experience :’ i don’t recommend.

I would not recommend or advise going there. Big organised group search to attack you gratuitous violence in front of the bar. Some of them are allowed in and once you are out, they will have all their people waiting to assault you. Police warned us that it happens frequently so be careful around that area.

Horrible place... Organised groups looking for trouble inside with a group waiting outside to mug people. No support from the “security“ who just stood there doing nothing. There are plenty more bars with better reputation in the area - AVOID AT ALL COST !

BE CAREFUL! Organised group goes in to cause trouble and start fights. The Police informed us they are called in most nights at the bar due to fights. We were assaulted by a group of 15 people. Bouncer didn’t do a thing. This place has changed a lot in the past years. It used to be fun place to go for a spontaneous drink.

Avoid at all costs ! This bar is known in Brussels for its fights and bag thefts. Avoid at all costs, there are muggings every week and every night. Very dangerous, the bouncers don't help either and are probably accomplices of the aggressors.

I didn't like it. I ordered a cocktail and 70% of it was just ice. The DJ was also very unstable. He didn't have a style. Maybe it was just bad luck to have a bad DJ that day‍

Got attacked there with my friends by + 10 arabs looking for trouble. Two of my friends at the hospital. Stay away from that club, the bouncer was useless and didn't help at all. When the police came, they told us they are called every week in that bar.

Wrong place to go to, you get your stuff stolen and maybe get into a fight you never searched for… Because there is organised groups who comes and push to start a fight and create distraction to steal or what ever.. And those bouncers won’t help you for sure..

Small bar with a disco. Only couples Re allowed on crowded nights. Lots of tourists. Keep your wallets and valuables close and safe.

It is a nice place with very nice staff and some Romanian music... it was surprisingly fun for us to see lot's of people singing Romanian songs. They have good beer and they are friendly. They even let us make a shot our recipe. So we enjoy going there and we definitely go there again.
