Great history, Great decor. Somehow i think Italian food can't be this fancy. Food was salty as but I think it was a one off.

Best place to eat in Melbourne. The staff are absolutely lovely, kind and very flexiable. The food is fantastic. What ever you order, make sure to get the souffle. It's fabulously light, fluffy and delightfully warm.

Best ala cart restaurant my wife and I have been to, the food wast very tasty, reasonably priced and the owner didn't want us to leave hungry, I recommend this place to everyone. The waiters were well dressed, well spoken and friendly, which all together made service spot on. I will be going back there.
Impeccable food and service matched with a true and genuine Italian experience. Still a favourite Melbourne institution and a must for any local and tourist alike. The Salty Bacala fish balls is a certainty to delight.
A delicious meal. Worth the extra money. I've waited a long time to dine at Florentino after eating downstairs a few times and it didn't disappoint. All the lovely little extras and attention to detail were worth it. Thankyou
