One of my top fave cheap eats in the city , tasty feed at reasonable prices. Love their perfect Ontama, and all their rice bowls are just yum . If you can’t decide on the bowls, there are also 3 mini bowls for $13.90 which is perfect when you want to try a bit of everything. Their tempura & fried goodies are yummy too! Love that they’re always fast too so you won’t need to wait long.
We ordered the double wagyu with rice and garlic butter chicken on rice and both were really tasty! The amazing thing about the wagyu beef menu is, it has more beef than the rice even though it's a regular portion! In other restaurants, it's usually the opposite more rice, less meat. The beef has the smoke taste and the meat absorbed the sauce well. The garlic butter isn't too garlicky and it compliments the chicken well. No wonder many people queue to enter this place.
The food of this restaurant is excellent. Most of their meals are donburu rice bowl, which are delicious and far more better than expected. The light is quite dark in the dining area. I would rate them as 5-stars if they could get brighter lights.Food: 5/5
Having trouble ordering the food as the staff doesn’t speak english well. Order demi glace beef but it was literally less than half spoon meat or half of the amount I usually get from here. The miso soup only get half full and the rice a bit hard to chew. Used to love this place but haven’t been here for couple of years.
It's one of my favourite Japanese spot. Located inside plaza George st. Many bento optional with reasonable price, serving quick food without sacrifice the taste. They sell premium beef as well, vegetarian option is available.Food: 5/5
Consistently good quality of food. However, over time the service has been a lot slower than previously. I remember when the turnover rate and the speed they used to serve customers was a lot quicker. Was there just before lunch hour rush but the line was already slightly outside of the store, the line did not budge for a good 10 minutes. Was in line for a total of about 20 minutes before i could order.
one of the best mid-budget restaurants in CBD. the food in general taste good, nothing fancy, and the presentation plating is always great and uniform. I also love their fish tempura, unlike the others, this restaurant keep their frites at the front fresh. staffs are also kind and they clean the tables very often. the restaurant also provides free water.
This is one of my favorite Udon place in a Sydney, bouncy udon, my all time favorite Mentaiko Onsen Egg Udon, with sweet potato curry croquette love itand fish tempura.Food: 5/5
A great casual, affordable place to get a hearty Japanese rice bowl set. Note that there is a small amount of seating and some of it is outside in the Meriton precinct area almost like a food court.
Amazing food that was very good value and the place had very friendly staff too. Would highly recommend checking out the 3 for $14 smaller bowl menu, plus the crab croquettes were great.Food: 5/5
