Animals broke into the bin and made a mess. I went out and cleaned up the mess and noticed the bin was emptied. Driver took it upon himself to deem my bin guilty of being overfull so he left it. It wasn’t over full, it was opened either by the wind or by animals over night. I’ve now been told to wait 3 days for another collection and if it’s broken into I have to clean it again.nnCollecting my rubbish is not a courtesy from the council, it’s a paid service. I pay for the drivers to collect my rubbish, not to make incorrect judgment calls. See photos attached, how the bin was placed overnight. The rubbish was picked up and put back in. If the garbage was collected, I would have put it in the bin for next weeks collection.nnAbsolute idiots running the show here in Melton. Pathetic.
My recycle bin was emptied Monday morning..nThe pick up bloke broke the bin, dropping and cracking all the side.nI reported it the same day to have a new one sent out.nWednesday night I received a text to leave the broken one out on the kerbside as a new one was being replaced Thursday .nWaited till almost 5 yesterday with no sign of a new bin.nCalled up the council again..nThey assured me it was being done yesterday, as they work till 6.nGo out this morning and broken bin is still on the nature strip ..nAbsolute useless service
My dad is been provided with age care personal services and meals on wheels for 1 year now .All the support workers been so supportive kind to my dad and genuinely involving in his care.nToday we had another team member who provided exceptional care.nThank you
This council appears to be acting suspiciously. When my Brother applied for a permit, they demanded fees related to Australian Height Datum AHD levels, citing that the area is flood-prone. Yet, other houses on the same street were built without facing this requirement. According to the council's own reports, the area is not classified as flood-prone. When I requested a refund, they claimed to have conducted a detailed investigation with Melbourne City Water and gone quite on refunding the money and they have now stopped responding to my inquiries. This feels like a scheme targeting innocent, hard-working individuals. Be wary of potential scams involving the Melton Council.
I took my two sons last week to the park in Aintree where the huge lookout is. There are two flying foxes at this park, my sons were gliding down and one of the seats came off and he landed on the ground with a sore behind. I called Melton City Council, the lady I spoke to I gave her the details and she went on to end the call, I said are you going to take down my details in case, a little reluctant she did. I’m disappointed a courtesy call wasn’t made a few days later asking if my son was ok. Please people if you are to use the park equipment with your children within the Melton City Council please check the equipment out before use because the council are not doing that and one day some child will be seriously hurt.
