I have called and informed the council regarding truck parking on the bike lanes. After one month, the trucks are still being parked on bike lanes and nothing has been done. Clearly someone is getting paid with hard working tax/rate payers money and is not doing their job!!
Marija from the litter prevention office was extremely helpful and provided me with great advice and was considerate of our situation. She went above and beyond in providing her time to resolve an issue, as well as providing solutions to prevent further situations happening in the future.
The customer service over the phone and in person always goes above and beyond to help you out. Not sure why there are so many unhappy reviews, but for me personally they have always been very helpful. If they say we will call you back, they DO call you back.nKeep up the good work !!
It's full of embracement and shame living under Melton council.nnWe are extremely embarrassed and harassed by Melton council employee Julie looking after family daycare in Melton West who consistently puts us in trouble and discriminates with us, with all unnecessary and stupid things and requirements.nnWe are a local hardworking family and raising our family and trying to do the childcare business with full dedication and loyalty. But after paying a significant amount from our little fortnightly income to the council, we are depressed, humiliated and left discriminated against by Julie and left with no option.nnI am a hardworking Australian and need answer for this MELTON COUNCIL!!!!!!!!
Animals broke into the bin and made a mess. I went out and cleaned up the mess and noticed the bin was emptied. Driver took it upon himself to deem my bin guilty of being overfull so he left it. It wasn’t over full, it was opened either by the wind or by animals over night. I’ve now been told to wait 3 days for another collection and if it’s broken into I have to clean it again.nnCollecting my rubbish is not a courtesy from the council, it’s a paid service. I pay for the drivers to collect my rubbish, not to make incorrect judgment calls. See photos attached, how the bin was placed overnight. The rubbish was picked up and put back in. If the garbage was collected, I would have put it in the bin for next weeks collection.nnAbsolute idiots running the show here in Melton. Pathetic.
