The staff are so kind, very knowledgeable and genuinely care for their work. Completely enjoyed each interaction. We purchased 12 fishes and they are all thriving, absolutely wonderful to have them as pets.

I reside in Canberra and ordered Discus to be shipped. While my order was delayed with issues due to timeliness with road freight totally understandable no one wants their fish to arrive dead. Ravi and Dave were great my order was sent by air and collected the same day. Collection at the airport was super easy, the fish were well packed with heating pads. While l selected small/young discus they are super healthy with great shape. I would have no hesitation in ordering with them again even with delays, as the first concern is the welfare of the fish. Next time l am in Vic l will certainly be making an effort to go to the store for a shopping spree before heading home.

After doing a 'Google search' for Aquarium Fish Shops I found 'Melbourne Tropical Fish'. I was very methodical in my search & comparisons & this business came out well in front with their prices!  After comparing all of the prices on my paper chart my Sister, Mum & I decided to make a day of it & drive the 3 hours one way to collect our fish rather than have them posted.  So very happy with this decision & my purchases - all fish in the shop were healthy, tanks clean & staff were AMAZING. Bagged up with large bags with plenty of air, assisted us back to the car after offering to post the fish that were out of stock currently.  FYI - I bought 50 x Neon Tetra & 6 x Otocinclus.  Panda Corydoras & Celestial Pearl Danio will be posted.  Such a lovely experience .... the fish travelled well & look so fabulous in their new home   Hopefully my photos will show  in my review

Great friendly service. Knowledgeable.  And awesome deal made on a fish I really wanted to own.  My strawberry peacock has fitted in right at home.  So happy to watch it fitting in with other Malawi cichlids in my 6ft tank.    Their prices are fantastic.  Will definitely visit again when in neighbourhood and have already recommended them to fish enthusiast friends who live nearby.

Ravi and Dave were absolutely amazing. Such a large variety of tropical fish, in particular to me Discus. Gorgeous colours and so healthy. Honestly, fabulous service, so kind and knowledgeable. Would recommend Melbourne Tropical Fish to anyone. Please do yourself a favour and go down for an outstanding experience.

Great communication from the very first moment I ordered. I needed the tropical fish delivered to NSW and they came promptly. They were all healthy and packed well. Couldn't fault this company at all!

They have a great selection of discuss and very friendly staff happy to chat. Great on information so amazing place to go to start a tank set up or if you have any questions. I highly recommend the place.

If I could give 0 star I would. This is how they keep betta 6ft high on shelves for people to spill, fieh constantlybeing ill f4on . They constantly have sick fish from contaminated nets and cleaning tools. would definitely travel a lot further for quality. : 0/10 would not be back even if my life depended on it

We visited over the long weekend and it was 100% worth the travel from hoppers Very impressed by this store , large variety of beautiful healthy fish Prices are unbelievably cheap !!! Dave was very friendly and helpful We bought discus, angelfish and goldfish, all super healthy, will definitely be back soon

Lovely staff and their amazing handling and experience just makes me want to come back more and more!! These guys truly know their fish and provide for their costumers. Honesty and hard work couples in their family team to provide excellent care and procedure. A great variety of fish and hopefully I can contribute myself to the greatness of their community!!
