They sent photos of their stock, and I was able to choose my mix of colours rather than go with potluck - which exceeded my expectations.n2. David spoke with me personally, asked some important questions about my set up and provided details of the water parameters and diet the fish were used to.n3. For shipping airport pick up in Sydney, the communication around the process was clear. The fish were professionally packed - ample space, double bagged with oxygen, and with heatpacks, in a well-marked poly box.n4. David then got in touch personally the following day to check how the fish were doing.nnAll round, the price was fantastic, the fish are good quality, and David did everything you'd expect of someone that cares both for the customer and the fish.

I purchased 150 comets for my aquaponics system from Melbourne Tropical Fish and Aquarium Plants. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely happy to help rather than just trying to make a sale. On top of that, the pricing was very reasonable compared to other places I’ve been to. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this store to anyone looking to buy fish for a hobby!

Lovely people. Happy to help you and have a great range of fish. Great pricing and I've never had an issue with a fish from there. We brought guppies and neon tetras for my son's tank which he loves!
