I had recently moved to town and had no GP so came here. Although the wait time was decent, once I was seen my care was superb. I had excellent communication with the doctor during my visit and following up my condition as it progressed. The team here is obviously under the pump so I was very pleased with the care I was given considering, and a bit of patience and respect goes a long way!

Have found the most amazing doctor there and it's not my usual GP practice. I have had a reoccurring issue for over 2 and a half years that was finally diagnosed and treated rather than symptom fixing by the other 5 or more doctors I've seen. The care level of the staff is above and beyond the expectations. Highly recommend Dr Allen and all the wonderful reception and medical staff. I cannot say thank you enough.

I was very pleased with their service. Although they were very busy. I managed to see the doctor in 1 hr. The staff were very very helpful and kind to me. As a foreigner , Medical services in the whole world are expensive, I don’t think their charging anything out of the ordinary. Thanks to all the clinic staff who helped me on this emergency

Hi. I had really bad back pain and it comes to my shoulder. I went to urgent care. Wait was long. After 2.5 hours nurse call me to check I explained everything my pain was 8.5 out of 10. When Doctor saw me he-didn’t even touch me when I said i have bad back pain and pain comes to the shoulder. He just gave me tramadol and said do exercises. How can i do exercise in pain. When my husband did my massage and he saw on my shoulder it’s to much swelling and redness. Not  happy with the service.

This clinic is my GP as well as the only walk in after hours clinic in the wider New Plymouth area which we use all the time with out 3 and 4 year olds. Yes, the waiting times may be long and yes they're often under stress and sometimes a bit snappy but this is a pretty stressful time for everyone especially for MediCross staff; being the only after hours clinic in a large population during a global pandemic in which everyone is less patient and more anxious and I can guarantee they're doing their best.  Top marks from me; we've always been treated with respect and fairly, even if we had to wait for quite a while. I'm just grateful they're when we need them.

Should not say GP on the sign. Good service when it arrived. Came in with a non-urgent illness, bottom of the triage and it took two and a half hours to be seen. Though when the doctor did arrive though, he was personable, professional and effective

Went there in alot of nerve pain, was told to wait in car but they were very rude, treated us like we were outcasts and lepers just because I had a mask exemption. After an hour they allowed me to sit in a room , I waited in the room for 3 hours , no one reassured me I would be seen too , when I said I was in alot of pain no one seemed to care, everyone seemed way to laid back specaily for a place that says urgent care, being in Australia for so long they have way more people and I've never waited this long. Finally when i got seen it was a practising doctor, the doctor training him was worse then the practising doctor, everything they did wasn't helping me, they didn't offer pain killers , finally I went to Ed and they were very helpful and sorted my pain straight away, never go to medi Cross, they are rude, unprofessional and not urgent about your situation at all,  they don't treat people as if they are the reason they have a job and don't care about the patients at all. If something is urgent go to Ed, you get better care and they have more professional doctors

I went to Medicross and found them to be very caring and the communication was excellent. I was informed what the covid procedure was going to be the moment I went to reception. The Nurse was very caring and when the Dr came in he was very thorough and also very caring.

My dad's second visit for kidney pain that has not gone away for months. The first visit with his gp and now an urgent Dr, Dr Singh to try and work out what's going on.  Rude, dismissive and not taking it seriously. Kept talking about tummy pain even though his tummy is fine. Refused xray, ultrasound, told us a colomoscopy was "too hard and too long" and was reluctant to send him for more tests.  Now he has to pay for another visit to follow up with gp, Dr singh said "we will keep it at ground level to save time" even tho this isn't a ground level issue, this is a serious issue.  Dissapointed and worried for my father who is the last person to deserve to be dismissed.  Reception were lovely, but I can't say the same for the doctors. Save your money, and your health and go elsewhere.  They don't care about you, and they charge a fortune even for gp visit. Whatever you do, never go to medicross.

Rip off joint ...took myself and 7 year old daughter the nurse basically asked couple of questions then sent us to a doctor who gave us a prescription for $140 did nothing physically only went on what his side kick nurse told him and sent us on our marry way ...funny tho in his office was a sign that said they do not do Winz medical certificate ‍ but nothing at the front counter had i known or others who have been for similar we would have all walked out and not bothered wasting money on these dirty fuks
