Tui Ora in New Plymouth offers a range of health and wellbeing services with a strong focus on supporting Māori and community-based care. The staff are professional and friendly, and they provide a holistic approach to healthcare, addressing both physical and mental health needs. However, appointment wait times can sometimes be long, and availability for certain services may vary. Overall, it’s a valuable resource for the community with a culturally sensitive approach to care.
Multifaceted health service provider that works across the district. Helped with many of my families issues through different life stages and struggles. Have a great website to explore if you need to see which services they provide, as the list is extensive.
Would have given a 5 star but the receptionist was very rude and did not help at all. Especially when it was a Mental health matter. Despite waiting 2 hours for a nurse to callback went through the mental health procedure, was able to fit me in an appointment and I was well taken care of . Great Nurses and Doctors. I suggest Cath receptionist should receive more training.
Don't bother with this organization if you're looking for a wellbeing service for your baby.nnIt's been 3 months since we got a referral from our midwife and we still haven't had a visit or even a phonecall for our 4 month old.nnChanged to plunket and had an appointment booked within 2 days.
Literally lost my left pinky finger cause a doctor from here thought my cut on my pinky wasn't very deep so he sent me home.I had actually cut the tendon in half and my finger it wasn't moving at all Went back 2 days later and he sent me to a ultrasound and then back to him. After 5 weeks he finally sent me to a hand surgeon and he said itnwas to late and they had to cut my finger off.
