Story

Medical Centre 291 officially opened its doors on the 19th of February, 2001. A “fee for service” clinic, it was established by principal partners, Dr Robert G. Padanyi and Dr Peijian (Peggy) Zeng. Dr Zeng and Dr Padanyi now work along side Dr Russel Searle and Dr Alan Kwong.

Appointments can be made either by telephone or in person. In the case of urgent/emergency attention inform the receptionist of the situation and she will make every effort to help you be seen as soon as possible.

We are an AGPAL accredited service. For our patients, this means:

Exellent Staff Excellent Doctors !!! Staff always greet you with a smile and are more than happy to help you in anyway and make you feel welcome and comfortable ! The Doctors are also amazing very caring and very patient !!!!! :)

This is a great practice if you have small children, they bulk bill for kids. For regular patients if there are no appointments available and it is an emergency they will squeeze your child in if possible - this is the greatest thing your doctor can do for you as a mother. The kids love the stickers at the end of the appointment also and will see no one other than Dr Allan Kwong! Im not sure what the other reviewer is talking about - toilet facilities are available and have been for the past 3 years i've been attending the centre. They are disability access toilets and have a change table available. There are toys for the kids, a tv in the waiting room and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The service at the front counter has definitely improved since 2010 when we first attended. I believe that Jay is referring to a different medical centre On the other hand, if you are an adult and want a detailed explanation on what's happening, this may not be the place for you. Some of the doctors are indeed arrogant and this can be very annoying when you're looking for a thorough approach. This does not apply to their nurse Jade, she is an absolute gem!

Rude staff, arrogant Dr's, no facilities inside. No Airconditioning. No toilets. This is the worst medical center i have ever had the misfortune of visiting. Staff spend all of their time arguing who is going to what. There is no order. I dont know why people make appointments when Dr just comes out, thumbs through files and takes the ones he likes. If you question any of the Dr's there they just tell you to get out. If you want more information or something doesnt sound right, just leave. Had to wait 6 weeks to get in to see a specalist, he had the wrong file for my child and blamed me and yelled at me because i told him that the file wasnt right. The most obious tell tale was that he refered to my daughter as "so, how's your little boy going?" AVOID at all costs.
