I had been diagnosed with Kerataconus in both of my eyes years ago. I had been told of the symptoms both from my old specialist and recently from a specialist from the Eye and Ear hospital. This "Doctor" Mee not only said I only had Kerataconus in one eye after his assistant who did all of the tests confirmed that I had it in both, he also told me that the blurred vision and light sensitivity I am suffering isn't from the Kerataconus. This is completely wrong, as both the Ear and Eye hospitaland my old specialist confirmed these were symptomsof Kerataconus. He also didn't seem to understand what double vision was, denying that I was double vision when I clearly stated to him that I see two of everything. The whole time I was in his office, he talked down on me and was just very rude. The last thing he did which really annoyed me is he sent me to go and get a scan done on my eyes, telling me it was completely covered by Medicare. He lied, it was completely out of pocket - something the technician who did the test said he should have known. On top of this all, I had to wait an hour past my appointment time to see this man, in a full waiting room. This man is not at all professional. Avoid at all costs.
Doctor is a nice man. Ladies at the front are amazing too. But if you wish to wait for an hour or more for your appointment, go to this practice. Not even an apology for an hour wait. They book many people so they can make more money by seeing more people in a day at the expense of people's time and comfort. Thank you.
Ok, listen up, those that know me, know I say it as it is. I attended the clinic today and saw Dr. Mee. I found the staff very friendly, and Dr. Mee, was delighful. Dr. Mee, explained everything to me in simple terms. He took his time to answer my questons. I have no hesitations in recommending this clinic and in particular Dr. Mee to you. If you are looking for an eye specialist, then this is the one to see, Dr. Mee. Once again, thank you Dr. Mee, and I look forward to seeing you again. Dezi George.
What a moroon. I have been diagnosed with Macular Telangiectasia several years ago by not just an Opthalmologist but also a Professor of Opthalmology yet within 5 mins of being there he tells me that I have 20/20 vision without any tests and doesnt think that I suffer the former. Oh yet I also wear glasses. He also kept going on about cateracts...which I do not suffer. Then he just prescibed his usual generic meds.....lol the chemist new straight away where the script come from.After much insistence he finally addressed the issue I was there for which was unrealated to any of the former issues. Steer clear its obviously just a money making exercise.
Rude and condescending, practically accused us of making up symptoms. Left with no diagnosis or course of action.
I have visited Dr Jared Mee a few times and also he did my cataract surgery, every experience was satisfactory. Dr Mee is a highly experienced and professional eye specialist.
Unacceptable waiting time to be seen, especially for the elderly. Perhaps the clinic needs to consider booking less people so that patients can be seen in a timely manner.
Super rude. He was lucky I didn’t punch him in the face. We hurt his egoistic feelings for repeating his own words. What a clown.
Jared is a down to earth guy .Easy to talk to manner. A very knowledgeable specialist in his field stays current and up to date. In fact diagnosed an artery blockage in my kneck just from looking at my eyes!
Had my first visit today for my daughter. Very pleasant environment and the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Highly appreciate the professionalism of Dr. Jared and the team. Highly satisfied of the service I got.
