It was raining heavily tonight, and I came in with my two sons to take shelter and buy some food. Haley's warm smile, excellent service, and friendly attitude left a deep impression on our family.nI believe she deserves recognition, a raise, or even a promotion — because she truly deserves it.
Worst mc donald’s in Auckland. I went to the drive thru at 7am and was told to wait at the speaker for 10min . I was the only car in the drive thru . I got a big Mac combo . A Pattie and bun was missing . The chips and burger was also cold.
I would like to share an unfortunate experience I had yesterday at the McDonald’s in New Lynn. I went there for dinner and ordered a coffee and two sandwiches, requesting table service.nnIt quickly became clear that I was being treated differently—possibly because I am an immigrant or because I am Black. The woman who took my order refused to bring it to my table, even though I had requested that service. She fulfilled other customers’ orders before mine and then, from a distance, gestured for me to get up and collect my coffee myself.nnI have no problem picking up my order at the counter, but it was the way she prepared the coffee and the look in her eyes that made the situation painful. There was a clear sense of disdain, and I could feel the rejection and disrespect in her actions.nnThroughout the experience, I kept speaking to myself, trying to remain calm and understand what might have caused her behavior. Perhaps she was extremely tired, or maybe someone had been unkind to her earlier. Maybe she wished she were somewhere else, or perhaps she was going through something difficult at home or in her relationships. I truly tried to feel empathy for her, despite the deep pain of what felt like discrimination.nnWhatever the reason, the feeling of being dismissed or looked down upon is something that stays with you—it touches the soul. And I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone. In the end, we are all human beings. Whether we are customers or staff, managers or employees, it doesn’t matter. What matters is the respect we owe one another simply for being human.nnThank you for taking the time to read this.nnSincerely,
Good service, foods prepared well and nice coffee. Only ordered through drive thru, the service seems consistent. Love the BLT bagel. I wish McDonald's Australia would add it to their menu. The double quarter pounder is good, I added lettuce, tomato, and mayo, which makes it really good.
Went through the driveway at 5 pm.Had to wait for 5 minutes before placing my order.nPaid and when drove to the food pickup window was asked to park and th order would be delivered to the car.Waited for 12 minutes and then received my order.nNo ketchup to go with the fries,no tissue in the bag,coffee had a burnt taste and the burger was dry.nExtremely dissatisfied with the experience.nMay be the owners need to monitor their business and repledge their commitments towards the global franchise.
