McDonald's

Great staff, great McCafe coffee & Frappee's. Staff go out of their way to make you happy. We caravan the country a lot & believe this is one of the best McDonalds.

Not great. I thought the idea of a big food chain was that you can expect the same or similar food wherever you go. I asked for a burger wrapped in lettuce which I have had at other McDonald's and although its messy to eat I love it. I ordered it here and all was well until I was given a horrible sad looking overcooked meat mess in a paper salad cup. I asked why it wasn't wrapped in lettuce as ordered. The answer was "we dont do that here because the lettuce leaves are too small"!! Really just in Hervey Bay an average sized lettuce can't be found? Why? Is it a strange natural aberration? Why wasn't I told that when I ordered? The only other people eating there were backpackers.. they won't be back either.

Pleasantly surprised with the all round delivery service!! We had trouble ordering direct through Mcdelivery, called the shop and a lovely lady (manager?) redirected us to Menulog. The best was yet to come when we had a hilarious, attentive and well mannered young man, Sam, deliver our complicated order. Hands down the best delivery service we have ever had (we're from Brisbane where delivery is a plenty and we order from some restaurant once a week).
