The place is well maintained and has great food and weekly specials. We went for the 2 for 1 on Thursday which was great value. On a regular day, I personally do find their prices rather high for a RSL. Even if you are a member, they apply a discount but I still find it rather high. The service was excellent and friendly.
My husband and I were visiting Hervey Bay during the Christmas holidays and we had the best ever Roast lunches. I had the Pork Roast and my husband the Beef Roast. We will be visiting this RSL for lunch again.
In February 2026 I thought the roast was good value for $14 member/senior but when I came back the second time in one week after being told, they will look after me because they forgot the potatoes The first time, Well I wasn’t pleasantly surprised when the food arrived on the table, especially with the black carrot and the Army broccolini nWell overcooked this should not even be plated up would we dare ask for service again no not from these bureaucratic people that require all the evidence so the evidence is in the photo. If you bother to reply offering a full replacement then we’ll talk about it when we return thank you
I have been a couple times and regarding from the restaurant the food was just average but long time in waiting and when arrived wasn't what I paid for. Second time in again long waiting and arrived almost cold and the broccoli were completely raw.nDefinitely not going there again.
My partner and went here on a Friday and Sunday night. On Friday they have a free bottle of wine conditions do apply with every 2 meals. We had beautiful meals lamb shank and roast pork both were very well cooked there was also a live entertainer. Sunday night we had curried prawns and roast pork again very nice meals. Sadly no free wine or entertainer but a nice quiet night. For both of us, the next time we are in the area we will definitely return for another great meal.
