I went in there last week and didn't see Kathy.. she was such a lovely help last time.. service was average.. didn't have the same atmosphere.. didn't end up buying anything.. but love the shoes..
Walked in to buy multiple pairs of school shoes and was kindly served by Israa. The shop was very busy but she was the only staff member to take the time to acknowledge me and eventually serve me, she showed me different options and explained each shoe. Thanks again to Israa!
Back to school busy, staff seem overworked and not interested in even greeting people. Won't shop here again.
I love their winter boots collection. Just purchased Jango & Juliette tan boots. Kathy and Krystal were exceptional. They were so sweet and professional, as they assisted me with my choice of brands for boots. Thank you so much Kathy and Krystal. I can’t wait to come back in and purchase more shoes from Mathers.
I don’t normally post reviews but I received exceptional service from Kathy at Mathers in Bankstown today I was returning a pair of shoes I purchased online and she provided me assistance you don’t find in retail much any more thanks for the great customer service
Rude behaviour. The one star is for the service the young sales staff gave me but whoever the older staff was treated me as if I was a nuisance to be in the store because she was sorting out stock. I had to approach someone to be served & given no acknowledgement. Asked a question about a reward system they offered for which the young sales staff had to ask the older sales staff. The reply to which was "look, I don't know". Perhaps more training is required if a reward program is offered but I will shop elsewhere going forward or online. I don't like walking into a store & feeling like I am in the way or that I am being a nuisance for asking a question. Disappointing experience to say the least.

Hi, I came into the Bankstown store today got the most amazing customer service by Kathy. Every time I come into the store, Kathy is always smiling no matter how busy it is and even with all her customers, she always comes to assist me. I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to coming again the next time I need a new pair of shoes! Thank you Kathy, thank you Mathers Bankstown!
Great Prices. Great service. They offer a wide variety of shoes for formal occasions, work and school. Always have back to school offers. The shoes they offer are comfortable to wear all day and the staff are very friendly and always give the best price. Best time to shop is definitely around the start of school though.
Twice in the last 3 months I walked into the store with intention to purchase multiple pairs of shoes including boots and heels I has seen online. First time the 2 customer service reps didn't acknowledge me, greet me or even ask me if I needed any help yet they both rushed up to the next walk in male customer serving him together 2nd time I walked in, there were 3 reps discuss how they didn't think it's fair to be sorting the stock out back when they're busy as it is. Mind you I was the only customer there in store, one lady acknowledged me, the other 2 went off for coffees. I asked the rep if there was a particular size in red boots I was interested in displayed out front, she said "nope, just whatever is there" pointing to the front. I remained in store for up to 10 minutes looking at other styles, trying on different pairs then walked out. Lack of customer service. Preferential service offered? I refuse to shop there again.
