Beautiful spot on the river. Tropical atmosphere with palm trees and gardens to enjoy. Very reasonably priced with accommodation clean and tidy. Full kitchen facilities with oven, microwave and refrigerator. Easy access to local cafes, supermarkets etc in Bli Bli. Only 15 min to Maroochydore. A very relaxing break away!
Our child has just returned from camp here and said it was filthy. The rooms were dirty, the blanket in the room smelt like vomit and every day there was hair in his breakfast. I have asked around and other parents said their kids have shared similar stories of filthy conditions.nnUpdate based on response from accommodation:nThe fact that there was a dirty blanket in the cabin that smelt like vomit that was not owned by the 3 boys in that room confirms that the room had clearly not been cleaned I wonder when the last time it was cleaned!.nSecondly you can tell a lot about a business based on how they respond to feedback and when it comes to this place the response is abysmal.
Went here for a Year 6 school camp and loved it. Beautiful setting on the river, excellent food with huge portions and the en-suite rooms slept only 2 or 3 students, which is so much better than large dorm rooms. The staff were friendly and responsive.
Service was decent but the rooms were horrible. Stayed here for a school camp and it looked nothing like the photos. We had holes in the carpet, shower head was broken and was lukewarm water, bunk beds were shaking and squeaking so much it felt like it wasn't gonna hold, and we found multiple cockroaches in the room including on the bed. Probably the worst place i’ve ever stayed at especially for a yr 12 camp.
I went for school last year and the cabins were good but the shower kinda flooded and the bunk beds were a bit wonky and we were not a big fan of the food but some of it was alright and the activity’s were mid I liked when we threw water balloons at each other and kayaking was fun me and my friend almost fell of a few times. nWe also had some awkward activities like talking to a bunch of people from our school in a activity where we had to stand in a circle and rotate and talk to the next person I prefer to not talk but I understand how some people like talking but I’m not a big fan of it.nThe movie night was my very favourite night it was a little uncomfortable laying on the ground it would’ve been good if we had beanbags but still really fun.nAnd overall the camp was a little strict and you should Mabye add a more adventurous day and that’s probably all. I also have a camp holiday coming up here soon.
