Story

With our help, it’s easy to have a Marlborough Sounds or Queen Charlotte Track adventure that’s “just the way you like it”.

Amongst our trip options, you can choose to hike, bike or paddle a kayak. You can take it fast or slow. You can get out there for one day or several, with or without a guide. You can camp under the stars or bed down in a comfortable lodge. Provisions can be basic or deliciously gourmet. You can go in spring, summer, autumn or winter.

Led by Sara and Dave, the team at Marlborough Sounds Adventure Company go to special lengths to understand and deliver what you want from your adventure. We’ve won many awards over the years, including a NZ Tourism Award, because we pour a lot of energy into producing adventures that fit every customer’s idea of a good time.

Products

Sea kayaking - Kayak rental for half, one or multi day hire. Guided half, one, two and three day trips.
Walking Queen Charlotte Track - 4 & 5 day Guided trips featuring guide, eco-tour, water transfers to and from the track including luggage transfers, all meals, hotel-en-suite accommodation. 4 & 5 day Freedom walks featuring hotel en-suite accommodation, water transfers to and from the track including daily luggage transfers, packed lunch daily and information kit and map.
Mountain Biking - hire for an hour, a day or many days to ride the local or Queen Charlotte Track
