Fantastic service. We were headed to Resolution Bay for work and had missed our boat the week prior, they didn't hesitate to rebook us again the following week. Office staff were welcoming and friendly, punctual service out to Reso Bay. Lindsay was an excellent skipper, accomodating and providing chats and knowledge as we stopped into different bays along the way. He even offered to back track after the rest of his drop offs to collect us earlier than planned if need be. Met some friendly tourists and other locals whilst ferrying in and out of Picton. We at Betta Inspect It Nelson/Tasman highly recommend this service and would definitely use again if needed!
This is for the Furneoux Lodge Cruise & Lunch. Overall I’ve given it a 4/5 as stunning views of sound and lunch at Lodge beautiful; awesome choice; awesome locale; service etc. the desire is they drop you off at around 11.15 and collect at 3:15pm which is a LONG time if weather not good for swimming or your not wanting to go for a walk from Lodge. I would not go in this tour again because of that fact only.
Staff were friendly and helpful.nEven though the day was wet, the cruise from Picton to Ship Cove was beautiful.nThe Queen Charlotte hike was spectacular.nWe loved having our luggage water ferried each day to the next nights accommodation.
The Captain and Charlie his first mate were great! The whole staff was friendly and flexible with my booking, letting me catch an earlier taxi since my sleeping bag got soaked in rain the night before! I hiked South to North and preferred it, I was able to stay at one of the shelters just by myself. I was looking for more internal reflection and less socialization tho. I also hiked it in early April, which is the shoulder season for the Queen Charlotte. I also reccomend stopping at Furneax Lodge for a warm up and delicious Flat White coffee on your hike :
A lovely boat ride over to Resolution Bay. We had a friendly crew. We weren’t aware we would be stopping at a lot of bays on the way back after a long day but we met some lovely people. Will use again
